In recent years,the Ministry of Education of China has put forward the policy of core literacy,which advocates that students' learning goal should shift from the acquisition of knowledge and skills to the in-depth understanding of the core concepts and issues of the subject.This challenges the traditional education of our country,and the learning content and method also turn to interdisciplinary and comprehensive,and the interdisciplinary teaching and research of fine arts gradually rise.As an educational concept with complex connotations,"Big Idea" can be a concept,a theme or a problem,which can make the discrete themes interrelated and have certain significance.It requires learners to continue to explore and understand and realize deep understanding and knowledge transfer.The "big idea" in the course of art can be a great idea,extended on the basis of the art discipline itself,to help us understand many fragmented facts,discover the essential connections of things,and realize the transfer of knowledge across disciplines.This paper sorts out and reviews the relevant research on "big idea" at home and abroad.Although this teaching idea has been studied for a long time in the field of foreign curriculum teaching,it started late in China and is still in a blank state in the field of primary school art.Therefore,in this study,the author combines the concept of big concept teaching with the interdisciplinary teaching of fine arts in primary schools,and explores how to conduct the interdisciplinary teaching design around the "big concept" in the art education in primary schools.The full text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the related theoretical research part,mainly introduces the big idea teaching concept,interdisciplinary teaching and the relationship between them.The second chapter is the investigation of the teaching status quo,which analyzes the cognitive status of the "big idea" of primary school students and art teachers and the practice of the interdisciplinary teaching of art in primary schools.The third chapter is the teaching strategy part,from the course content,teaching activities,teaching evaluation three aspects to explain the teaching strategy of primary school art interdisciplinary course based on the big idea.The fourth chapter is the teaching practice part,which mainly applies "reverse instructional design based on big idea" to the interdisciplinary teaching of primary school art curriculum,independently develops and practices three big idea primary school art courses,and implements the interdisciplinary teaching from the aspects of art and science,art and music,etc.The fifth chapter is the teaching effect analysis part,which tests the teaching effect after the implementation of this research through the questionnaire survey,and analyzes and discusses the survey results.
