Research On Chemistry Proposition Of College Entrance Examination Based On The Promotion Of Key Competencies

With the promulgation of key competencies system for our Chinese students’development,the key competencies has become the foundation and core point for the fundamental task of moral education.College entrance examination is the main approach for our national colleges and universities to select talents.As the key point of college entrance examination,the quality of the proposition also affects its scientific nature and fairness.For the proposition conforming to the education reform in the new era,those practical problems need to be solved regarding how to promote the key competencies and build a scientific and accurate exam evaluation standard to ensure the fairness and scientific nature.Take chemistry for example,this research finds that the chemistry proposition evaluation study for college entrance examination based on key competencies is a bit deficient.Currently,there is a lack of scientific and systematic evaluation standard for chemistry proposition in college entrance examination for the mass educational researchers reference and use.Therefore,this paper is contributed to build an evaluation standard frame for the chemistry proposition of college entrance examination based on key competencies promotion.And thus,to evaluate the implementation situation of key competencies in the chemistry proposition of college entrance examination.This paper is composed of five parts.The first part is the introduction.Start from our national education reform model,raise out the questions.It introduces the current research situations of foreign key competencies evaluation and as well as the proposition of college entrance examination in China,confirm the purpose and meaning of the research and formulate the ideas and methods for the research.The second part is the theoretical basis of the research.It introduces chemistry key competencies,the evaluation system of college entrance examination and the educational measurement theory.It also describes the core concepts of literacy,key competencies,discipline key competencies,chemistry proposition in college entrance examination and so on.The third part is on the theoretical basis of the research,to build an evaluation standard frame for the chemistry proposition of college entrance examination based on key competencies promotion.It established seven evaluation indexes,and among which,the quantitative evaluation index is difficulty,and the qualitative evaluation index is as following—the question structure,the chemistry core value,the essential knowledge,the key abilities,the chemistry key competencies and the question situations.To establish the index evaluation rank by reference of the existing research results.The fourth part is the implementation and results of the research.The study objects are the nine sets of nationwide chemistry papers in college entrance examination from 2017 to 2019(Volume Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ).According to the established evaluation frame of chemistry proposition in college entrance examination,it conducts statistical analysis and ranking evaluation on the proposition evaluation index of the above mentioned nine papers.The fifth part is to elaborate the conclusion and discussion of this research.The conclusions of this research are as follows:1.According to the theory of educational measurement,it is rather reasonable that the relative difficulty remains at around 0.50 for the papers of the large-scale norm reference tests.The study shows that the difficulty from 0.50 to 0.55 is the best.The difficulty of the nine chemistry exam papers is all at about 0.50,and among which,the difficulty of the four sets of papers is within the optimal rank.2.From the view of the question structure,the nine sets of papers all examined the chemistry key competencies with a score of about 15%in the scientific inquiry and innovation consciousness and the score concentrated from 10%to 20%in evidential reasoning and model cognition.New requirements of the question situation were raised out in "General Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2017)".Presenting real situations is helpful to exam the students’ key competencies.Regarding the question situation,there are at least seven real situation questions in each paper and most of them can be integrated with the conception and problems of the questions.3.The core value of chemistry in the nine sets of papers appeared between three to seven times,and the occurrence frequency is increasing year by year.Combined with the current form of education reform,the proposition for college entrance examination shall be oriented by moral education and fully infiltrated with the core value of the subjects.4.In the nine sets of papers,the coverage of the content from "General Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2017)" for essential knowledge is more than 80%.The examination of essential knowledge in the nine sets of papers placed more emphasis on experimental principles and methods,reaction changes and laws,and material structure and properties.The score of these three sections is around 25%。The nine sets of papers also examined the four key abilities,and placed more emphasis on the ability of analysis and speculation and the ability of induction and argumentation.The total score of these two abilities in the most papers reached more than 60%.The nine sets of papers all examined the five-chemistry key competencies of.It placed more emphasis on evidential reasoning and model cognition,and the score is concentrated from 25%to 30%.From the above research result,we can find that the nine sets of papers placed more emphasis on the examination of chemistry core knowledge system,thinking cognitive ability and chemical thinking method.This research insists on the guidance of moral education,and take promoting the key competencies in the chemistry proposition of college entrance examination as the main idea.Combined with the evaluation system of college entrance examination,the evaluation standard frame established for the chemistry proposition of college entrance examination based on key competencies promotion offered new ideas for the research in this field.The evaluation index and evaluation rank established in this research needs to be further improved.
