This is the design and development of high school textbooks based on project learning.In project learning,students complete the project and study in a cooperative way.Students can exercise their ability in all aspects and improve their quality in the process of completing the project.In this study,the project activities involved in the school-based textbook "Chemical Inquiry activities" are mostly based on the chemical situation of real life,which is closely related to the life of students.Based on project-based learning,this study designed the school-based textbook "Chemical Inquiry Activities" and tried the textbook in the school where the author taught.In the process of completing the project,students use the chemistry knowledge to solve the problems in real life.After each project is completed,the corresponding results are obtained,and the ability of scientific inquiry and all aspects of literacy are improved.This thesis is divided into the following parts:The first part:introduction.After consulting the literature at home and abroad,the author summarizes the application status of project-based learning at home and abroad,compares its application in various stages and disciplines,and provides a direction for the compilation of school-based textbooks in this study.The second part:the core concept and theoretical basis.This part defines the connotation of project-based learning,school-based curriculum and teaching materials,and expounds that the theoretical basis of project-based learning is constructivism theory,situational cognition theory,pragmatism theory and cooperative learning theory.The third part:the analysis of the current situation of the use of chemistry teaching materials in senior high school.Before the textbook design of this study,the students were investigated by questionnaire to understand the current situation of the use of chemistry textbooks in senior high school,and to provide reference for the follow-up research.The fourth part:the design and development of high school textbooks based on project learning.In this part of the textbook design front-end analysis,textbook structure design and development and textbook style design and development.The textbook style is designed as project introduction,learning goal,project activity,expanding vision,method guidance and project learning evaluation form,and each part is described in detail.The fifth part:the application of high school textbooks based on project learning.After the trial of the school-based elective course material "Chemical Inquiry Activities",the questionnaire survey and interview were carried out.The students’ overall recognition of the teaching materials is very high,the column setting is reasonable,the evaluation method is novel,and the ability of scientific inquiry is improved after learning.At the same time,there are some improvements in the teaching materials.The sixth part:research conclusion and enlightenment.Finally,the research is summarized,and the reflection and prospect are carried out.It is helpful to integrate project learning into chemistry teaching materials,so we can choose to update the situational materials closer to students’ life.Students can carry out more independent project design and implementation in teaching materials with project learning concept,which is helpful to improve their ability of information literacy,experimental inquiry,group cooperation and so on.
