The development of The Times puts forward new requirements on the core quality of talents,and the development of the economy and society needs more scientific and technological innovation talents with comprehensive quality.The teaching mode of interdisciplinary integration of STEAM education overturns the traditional classroom teaching mode and teaching concept,and becomes an effective new way to cultivate students’ key ability to adapt to the future.STEAM education is guided by real problems in real life,mastering basic knowledge points in scientific inquiry,strengthening the application of knowledge in practical practice,and cultivating the comprehensive qualities of talents needed in the 21 st century such as innovation consciousness,engineering thinking and problem solving ability in the process of solving problems.Especially in based on the project of STEAM in the teaching of "link" intellectual enquiry,pay attention to the correct use of scientific inquiry method,according to the basic steps of science inquiry related knowledge to explore,to gradually establish an orderly consciousness so as to gradually form scientific inquiry ability of scientific inquiry,eventually to form the scientific literacy of the should have advocated by the current lay a good foundation.However,many learners do not have a good logic and sequence for how to explore the knowledge points in this link,so the real learning effect in this key link is not very ideal.According to the above research background and problems,this study on the basis of the STEAM project learning,into the gaming teaching strategy,in constructing a learning theory,demand hierarchy theory and game learning theory,learning theory and flow theory,under the guidance of design and development in science inquiry six steps as the knowledge framework of 2 d role-playing game education,and carried out based on the game of STEAM learning experimental study of the impact of primary school science inquiry ability.This experiment research by Wenzhou at an international school sixth grade two parallel class as the research object,using a quasiexperimental study,combined with the survey method,interviews and classroom observation,the teaching strategy under the elementary student science inquisition ability,learning motivation,flow experience and the influence of cognitive load has carried on the comprehensive discussion.Finally,through the collection of survey data and analysis of the results,the following conclusions can be drawn:1.It is feasible to integrate game-based teaching strategies into STEAM project-based learning to improve the students’ ability of scientific inquiry.2.In order to integrate project-based learning into the game,it is necessary to design and develop the system according to the teaching objectives and requirements.3.STEAM learning based on games can become a new way to cultivate pupils’ ability of scientific inquiry.4.STEAM learning based on games can enhance students’ motivation and interest in learning.5.Game-based STEAM learning can help students achieve flow in class and improve their concentration.
