An Application Study Of Casework In The Social Communication Dilemma Of Migrant Elderly People

In recent years,our country’s social structure has undergone drastic changes.The rapid advancement of social transformation,and the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization have led to large-scale population movements in urban and rural areas.Specifically,compared with rural areas,young people have more opportunities to realize their own value in cities,and all aspects of urban infrastructure are much higher than those in rural areas.This has attracted a large number of young people to work in cities to pan for gold.Urban work pressure is high.In order to support the work of their children,the elderly relocate to their children to work and live in the city.On the one hand,they help take care of their children and grandchildren,and on the other hand they provide for the elderly.Therefore,a special group of "elderly migrants" has appeared among the numerous floating population.After the elderly moved with them,due to the obvious changes between their original residence and the place of emigration,many old people who moved with them faced a series of new problems.For example,the problem of social interaction is a significant problem that affects the social integration and quality of life of this group,and it urgently needs to be properly resolved.This research is based on the theory of social support and resocialization,using literature research methods,observation methods and interview methods to collect data to understand the life of the elderly in Z community in Zhengzhou City and the status quo of social interactions after they have moved in.Through observation and understanding,the author selects an elderly accompanying migrant as the service object of this research,and uses the method of casework to intervene in the social communication problems of the accompanying elderly.The author intervened in four aspects: personal psychology,family relations,regional culture,and community contacts.Through six services,the author helped the client to ease the inferiority complex,and through personal interviews and family interviews to help the client and his family to open the heart.End,return to the family atmosphere of friendly communication.Through the development of services,the client assisted the client to establish new interpersonal relationships in the community,and improved the client’s sense of self-identity and community belonging in the new environment.Through summary and evaluation,the author found that case work can help clients build self-confidence and adjust their inferiority complex in a short period of time,and it can play a certain role in improving the social difficulties of the elderly who move with them.
