With the continuous promotion of governing the country according to law and the deepening development of a new round of curriculum reform,As the essential character and key ability of high school students to meet the needs of society and lifelong development,the consciousness of rule of law has been paid more and more attention.As a new textbook of high school ideology and politics published by the Ministry in response to the requirements of the General Senior High School Ideological and Political Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition),Politics and Rule of Law has taken on the task of cultivating students’ awareness of the rule of law.Based on this background,it has important theoretical and practical value to study how to effectively cultivate students’ consciousness of rule of law in the teaching of Politics and Rule of Law.From the point of view of the connotation of the consciousness of rule of law,it refers to the ideological consciousness and psychological activity state that can judge and analyze things by the value and criterion of law,so as to guide their own behavior.The cultivation of students’ awareness of the rule of law in high school’s teaching of Politics and Rule of Law means that students’ ability and accomplishment to use the rule of law thinking to analyze and judge and solve problems are cultivated through the bilateral teaching activities of teachers and students in the teaching process of compulsory three Politics and Rule of Law.Cultivating students’ consciousness of rule of law in the teaching of Politics and Rule of Law is of great significance to the improvement of students’ consciousness of rule of law,the realization of curriculum goal of ideological and political subject in senior high school,and the construction of socialist country ruled by law.The cultivation of students’ awareness of the rule of law in the teaching of Politics and Rule of Law has new advantages: one is the richness and scientific nature of the contents of the teaching materials,the other is the diversity of the presentation methods of the teaching materials,and the third is the systematic and consistent influence of education.Through the questionnaire survey and interview,the present situation of the cultivation of the consciousness of rule of law in the teaching of Politics and Rule of Law in senior high school is studied.However,it also reveals that some teachers do not understand the awareness of the rule of law,the extracurricular activities related to the cultivation of the consciousness of rule of law are insufficient,and the evaluation of students’ consciousness of rule of law is lack of effectiveness.The main cause of the problem is that some teachers are unwilling to actively renew their teaching ideas and skills,and lack of training to improve teachers’ awareness of the rule of law.At the same time the high school political classroom teaching status and college entrance examination examination education constraints and other subjective and objective factors.In view of the current problems,the main strategies to improve the cultivation effect of rule of law consciousness in the teaching of Politics and Rule of Law are as follows: first,to improve teachers’ ability to cultivate rule of law consciousness,to follow the spirit of curriculum standard,to actively renew teaching ideas,to play an exemplary role,to enhance their awareness of rule of law,to participate in teaching and training,and to improve their cultivation ability.Second,it is necessary to improve the cultivation effect of the consciousness of rule of law in classroom teaching,and cultivate the consciousness of rule of law in the design of teaching objectives,the creation of active subject courses,the value guidance of discriminating teaching,the optimization of situation and case teaching.Third,we should expand the path of extracurricular activities to cultivate the consciousness of rule of law,and cultivate the consciousness of rule of law in the practical activities of rule of law education inside and outside the school.Fourth,we should strengthen the effectiveness of the evaluation of students’ awareness of the rule of law,and comprehensively reflect and promote the development of students’ awareness of the rule of law by referring to the academic quality standard,setting up the situation of the rule of law problems,and combining the process evaluation with the summative evaluation. |
