There are some difficulties in reading and understanding prose,because of the variety in form and style,limitation in content and theme,and plurality in artistic conception and aesthetics.The ability of reading affects the efficiency of communication and,to a certain extent,reflects the effect of teaching.This article focuses on prose teaching in high school.Its greatest value lies in solving the practical problems of students in prose reading,and proposing feasible suggestions for high school prose teaching.The aim is at the subtleties of prose teaching,to explore ways to improve students' prose reading and comprehension skills,and at the same time to guide their writing for the overall improvement of students' academic literacy.We start at the overall comprehensive effect of Chinese teaching,focusing on the current situation of prose teaching in high schools.To conduct teaching and academic survey,a representative high school is chosen as the research site.The problems found in the teaching process are researched,to summarize the situations of prose teaching in real classrooms from a theoretical level.The bright spots and pain points in high school prose teaching activities are studied respectively to fully understand and analyze the teaching status.According to the practice of prose teaching,the article is divided into three categories.They are lyrical prose,narrative prose and argumentative(or reasonable)prose,each of which is analyzed from four aspects,which are design concept,teaching highlights,highlights analysis,teaching effect and after-class reflection.Additionally,in combination with current teaching trends,we incorporate multiple effective teaching methods,such as single text intensive reading and comparative reading with prose of the same subject.We can draw conclusions from a series of studies,that the strategy of prose teaching in high school should focus on four aspects.One is to strengthen language training and consolidate the language foundation.The second is to enhance dialogueawareness and thinking training.The third is to focus on aesthetic forming and learn to migrate flexibly.The fourth is to innovate reading and writing modes and improve students' comprehensive literacy.The problem comes from practice,and then the theoretical research can guide the practice.We base on classroom and focus on literacy.
