The Construction Of Attainment-based Hps Teaching Model And Its Application In High School Chemistry Teaching

In the 21st century,human beings enter the information age,science and technology play an significant role,science education is particularly important.HPS education is a model of science education introduced from the west,which can effectively promote students' understanding of the nature of science.In 2017,China issued the curriculum standards of chemistry in ordinary high schools(2017 edition)and put forward the concept of subject core literacy for the first time.The understanding of the nature of science in HPS education is highly consistent with the content of subject core literacy.Based on the main content of the discipline core accomplishment,and combining the cultivation strategy of core accomplishment and the core concept of HPS education,the author constructs the attainment-based HPS teaching model,to cultivate the students' two core qualities: evidentiary reasoning and model cognition,scientific attitude and social responsibility.This model is used to design specific teaching cases,with emphasis on the cultivation of core qualities.A practical study was conducted on the attainment-based HPS teaching model.One class was selected and the other was the "experimental group".The other was a "control group" that followed the usual pattern of teaching.After a semester,the two groups of students were surveyed by questionnaire and interview,which mainly investigated the formation of students' core qualities.Based on the data presented in the questionnaire and the conclusion of interview,the implementation effect of the teaching model is analyzed.Research shows that the attainment-based HPS teaching model can effectively stimulate students' interest in learning,At the same time,it significantly improved students' ability of evidentiary reasoning and cognitive model of chemical knowledge.It is helpful for students to form a good scientific attitude andsense of social responsibility.Therefore,the attainment-based HPS teaching model can better cultivate students' core quality of the subject.
