The concept of “Multi-text reading” was first put forward by Taiwan scholar Zhao Jingzhong in 2008.As a new practical form of reading teaching,it has been applied in our primary and secondary schools.Multi-text reading refers to the teaching of multi-text reading on a topic in a short unit time.The Department has compiled Chinese textbook for junior middle school since 2017.Except for the first volume of the eighth grade,which has not modern poetry,the other volumes of the textbooks for all grades have selected modern poetry.It can be seen that modern poetry is an indispensable component in the Chinese textbook of junior middle school.However,there are many problems in the specific teaching of modern poetry,and multi-text reading is seldom used in the modern poetry teaching of junior middle school.Therefore,this paper takes the Chinese textbook of junior middle school as an example,from the perspective of multi-text reading,combining the characteristics of modern poetry style,conducts the teaching research of modern poetry in junior middle school.And the author tries to explore the ways and methods of applying the multi-text reading teaching method to modern poetry teaching.This paper studies the strategies of using multi-text reading to teach modern poetry,including introduction and four chapters.The introduction mainly includes the origin of the research,the definition of multi-text reading,the relevant literature review and the purpose,significance and method of the research,which are the basis of this paper.The first chapter mainly discusses the theory of multi-text reading,including the characteristics and theoretical basis of it,so that the research perspective of this paper has a sufficient basis.The second chapter,by means of questionnaire,investigates the current situation of modern poetry teaching in junior middle schools,including the current situation of students’ learning,teachers’ teaching,and the development of multi-text reading in teaching and learning.And the author analyzes the research results to find out the reasons for the existing problems in modern poetry teaching.The third chapter discusses the necessity and value of the multi-text reading in the field of modern poetry teaching.Combining with the characteristics of modern poetry and the poetic text,it further explains why the multi-text reading concept should be used to study modern poetry and analyzes its unique value and significance.The fourth chapter discusses the strategies of modern poetry teaching under the perspective of multi-text reading.Combining with cases of modern poetry teaching which are integrated with multi-text reading,the author discusses the organizational strategies of multi-text reading from three aspects: establishment of topics,combination of texts and design of questions.And the author explores the implementation strategies of multi-text reading from the classroom operation methods,and shows specific classroom teaching cases.
