Reading is the main content and teaching method in the teaching of modern Chinese poetry in junior high school.And the main way of knowing and understanding modern poetry is audio reading material.The teaching method of reading provides a good support for the classroom teaching activities of modern poetry and it helps teachers grasp the artistic conception and connotation of poetry.At the same time,modern poetry is an important material for reading,reading plays a very important role in junior middle school Chinese classroom.Reading is helpful to arouse students' interest in learning modern poetry.It is also helpful to improve students' oral ability and written ability and students' understanding ability.However,in the actual teaching of modern poetry,the teaching of reading has not received due attention,so that the role of the teaching of reading can not play a full role in the teaching of modern poetry.In order to make reading better serve the teaching of Chinese modern poetry reading and maximize the function of reading teaching,this paper takes the teaching of Chinese modern poetry reading in junior middle school as the research object,mainly adopts the research method of literature analysis and investigation.First of all,collecting the relevant information and literature to absorb and draw on the predecessors' outstanding research,through the analysis of comprehensive methods to find out the relatively weak parts and the starting point of the paper synthetically.Secondly,through practical investigation,we find that there are some teaching problems in the teaching of modern poetry reading in junior high school.This paper takes the present situation of Chinese modern poetry reading teaching in junior middle school as the research direction,finds out the possible problems,and actively explores the corresponding feasible teaching strategies.The thesis consists of three parts except introduction.The first part mainly introduces the concept of reading and reading teaching,as well as the characteristics of modern poetry reading teaching,which include the characteristics of reading aloud,the characteristics of modern poetry and the function of modern poetry reading teaching.These functions include reading aloud to arouse students' desire to learn,to improve their ability of language expression,to improve their reading comprehension and writing ability,and so on.The second part uses the method of investigation to find the problems and reasons in the application of the teaching method of reading in the modern poetry reading teaching of junior high school.This part includes the investigation of the present situation of the teaching of modern poetry reading in junior high school and the analysis of the existing problems and reasons that come from the teachers and students who are the main body of the teaching activities.The third part mainly explores the teaching strategy of Chinese modern poetry reading in junior middle school.According to the problems found in the investigation,in order to better carry out the reading teaching of modern poetry,it plays an important role in reading,from teaching,teacher,student and evaluation.
