In recent years,the party and the country have paid more and more attention to the education of traditional Chinese culture,put forward projects for the revitalization of traditional festivals,and incorporated them into the curriculum and textbook system.China's traditional festival culture has the characteristics of nationality,locality,sociality,and comprehensiveness,and it has a lot in common with the regional,comprehensive,and social characteristics of the geography discipline.At the same time,most traditional festivals in China originate from people's production and life.Behind every traditional festival culture is the local natural geographical environment and social economic environment.Therefore,combining traditional festival culture with geography teaching can find a good fit.This article combines traditional festival culture with high school geography teaching to conduct research on the application of traditional festival culture in high school geography teaching,with a view to providing a reference for the application of traditional festival culture in geography teaching.This research mainly adopts research methods such as literature research method,interview investigation method,statistical analysis method,case practice method and observation method.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:First,investigate the current status of the application of traditional festival culture in high school geography teaching,and analyze the reasons for the existing problems.According to the analysis of interviews and surveys,the vast majority of high school geography teachers have a positive attitude towards traditional festival culture,and believe that traditional festival culture is a very rich geographical teaching resource,which is of great significance for promoting the teaching of geographical knowledge and cultivating the core literacy of students,but in teaching practice Chinese teachers rarely use traditional festival cultural resources in geography teaching.Teachers' attitudes and practice deviations towards traditional festival culture reflect that the specific practice path of traditional festival culture in high school geography teaching still needs constant discussion.Second,it expounds the application strategy of traditional festival culture in high school geography teaching.Based on the previous researches and the analysis of the interview survey results in this study,the application strategy of traditional festival culture in high school geography teaching was preliminarily constructed,mainly including the principles,ideas and issues to be paid attention to in the application of traditional festival culture in high school geography teaching.In the content of the application ideas,according to the curriculum standards,referring to the related questions of geography and traditional festival culture in the college entrance examination over the years,combined with the teaching practice,this article takes the five traditional festivals of the Spring Festival,Qingming Festival,Dragon Boat Festival,Mid-Autumn Festival and Winter Solstice as examples to try to mine high school geography The traditional festival cultural knowledge elements in the textbook,briefly explain its application and comb the corresponding content into tables,in order to provide a reference for the application of traditional festival culture in high school geography teaching.Third,the case design and practice of applying traditional festival culture to high school geography teaching.According to the analysis of teaching practice cases,the application of traditional festival culture in the introduction level of high school geography teaching has a greater role in stimulating students' interest and enthusiasm for learning and improving classroom efficiency;and its application at the level of extracurricular homework can enable students to explore independently Ability,cooperative learning ability and comprehensive practical ability are effectively trained to promote the cultivation of geographic core literacy,but the requirements for students' knowledge reserves are relatively high and it takes a lot of time.Traditional festival culture is a very rich and important geography teaching resource.Applying it to geography teaching can not only promote the teaching of geographical knowledge and the cultivation of core qualities of geography,but also guide students to rationally understand traditional festival culture from the perspective of geography,and deepen their traditions.The understanding of festival culture has laid a good foundation for the realization of the education promotion project of traditional Chinese festival culture.
