The humanity nature of Chinese subject determines the Chinese teaching and the traditional festival culture between there is a very important link. Chinese subject in the process of continuous development has been shoulder the important responsibility of passing on Chinese culture essence. Traditional festival culture is an indispensable part of Chinese traditional culture, for the Chinese we developed from agricultural society, traditional culture, especially the traditional festival culture is the root of the national spirit. Extensive and profound of the Chinese nation has a long history and culture, in the process of continuous development has formed many ethnic characteristics of traditional festivals, such as tomb sweeping day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn festival, the festival has been listed as national holidays, fully embody the country to the attention of the traditional festival culture.With the deepening of the reform and opening up, foreign culture flooding, with the primary and middle school students to the traditional festival culture cognition and understanding of the situation is a cause for concern. The status quo of Chinese teaching put forward higher request, Chinese language teaching in the inheritance and innovation of traditional festival culture need to play a bigger role.This article first elaborates the intension and extension of traditional festival culture, and then analyzes the present situation of traditional festival culture and value orientation.
