At present, bullying in China occurs from time to time.Compared with cities, bullying in rural areas is more serious. And under the influence of the “retreat point and school” policy, the proportion of rural child boarders has increased, and boarding schools have continued to increase. In addition, most rural boarding schools have poor hardware facilities, low quality of life, poor supervision and neglect of mental health Education and other issues, which exacerbates bullying on campus.A large number of studies have shown that school bullying not only has a negative impact on the victim, but also has a negative impact on the bully and the witness. Therefore, the research on bullying in rural campus is of great significance. And many studies have shown that BMI can affect the possibility of campus bullying. However, most of these studies have been written by foreign scholars. The research of Chinese scholars in this field still needs to be strengthened. Therefore, the research on the relationship between BMI and bullying with Chinese students as a sample has certain practical significance. The data used in this research comes from the tracing survey data of 137 rural boarding schools in 5 counties in Hebei and Sichuan in 2015 by a joint research group such as Peking University. The core independent variable of this article is the child's BMI,and it is divided into four categories according to the standards of the National Health and Family Planning Commission's Disease Control Bureau: weight loss, normal, overweight, and obesity. The dependent variable is bullying, which is divided into five categories: “witness bullying”,“being bullied”,“bullying others”,“bullying others and being bullied”,and “neither bullying nor being bullied”.Based on this, this study analyzes the impact of student BMI on bullying. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: 1.Thinners in rural boarding students are more likely to suffer bullying and suffer more bullying.2.Boarding students and left-behind students are more likely to witness bullying, suffer bullying, bully others, bully others, and be bullied.3.Boys are more likely to be bullied, bullied, bullied, and bullied. At the same time,it is found that the marital status and physical condition of students' parents also affect the frequency of bullying. The main policy recommendations of this article are as follows: 1.Pay more attention to children's daily learning and life, balanced diet, and provide regular psychological counseling and correction to students.2.Teachers and schools should educate and guide students accordingly, and carry out more psychological counseling courses,so that children cherish life and treat others well.At the same time, parents should be contacted to pay more attention to students' daily behavior.3.Schools and parents should not only deal with bullying in a timely manner after the occurrence of bullying, but also need to guide children and inform them of the differences and harms in order to reduce the occurrence of bullying incidents.4.Parents should try their best to maintain family harmony, give children a healthy and positive environment for growth, and prevent the native family from becoming the source of bullying or bullying others.
