STEM education concept has effectively made up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching models and sub-courses since it was first put forward by the United States in 1986.Physics is an important basic discipline in the field of natural sciences.It is based on observations and experiments and is closely related to the development of society,the progress of science and technology.This is highly consistent with the connotation that STEM education values the importance of science,technology,engineering,and mathematics.In order to innovate the physical classroom teaching method,make up for the shortage of traditional sub-courses.This article takes the cultivation of the students' core literacy of physics as an important support and carrier,and takes the construction of a instruction model suitable for the physics classroom of senior high schools in China under the STEM education concept as the core problem.The research is specifically carried out from the following three parts.First of all,the modeling method and process of the instruction model are analyzed,and the logical thinking of the construction of the STEM-Physics instruction model in this paper is clarified.Secondly,a survey on the learning attitude of senior high school students and the current status of senior high school physics teaching under the concept of STEM education is conducted.Through the collation and analysis of the survey data,it is found that the students' STEM learning attitude is positive,and they already have preliminary interdisciplinary problem-solving thinking.Teachers generally believe that the integration of STEM education concepts in the teaching of senior high school physics courses can better develop students' core literacy of physics to a certain extent.Demonstrated that it is feasible to carry out STEM education in high school physics teaching.Thirdly,according to the advantages and core elements of the integrated STEM instruction model,high-quality integrated STEM education principles.Combined with Physics Curriculum Standards of the Ordinary Senior High School.On the basis of the teaching model construction theory and the instruction model construction process of this article.Based on the survey results,with the goal of cultivating the core literacy of all students in physics,this paper proposes the STEM-based senior high school physics instruction model-" STEM-Physics instruction model".Finally,base on the STEM-Physics teaching model and its seven implementation stages of situation creating,problem analysising,engineering design,scientific inquiry,knowledge construction,deep learning,and communication evaluation.Combined with the high school physics textbook of the People's Education Press,the senior high school physics classroom teaching cases "Capacitance and Capacitor"and "Exploring the Relationship between Acceleration and Force and Mass" under the STEM education concept are designed.The STEM-Physics instruction model can be well adapted to the high school physics classroom instruction,realize the integration of interdisciplinary knowledge points,and correct the students'cognition of the dialectical relationship between the theoretical knowledge and practical application of physics.To provide a new path of exploration for the study of high school physics instruction model and the reform of classroom instruction methods.
