STEM education first emerged in the United States.It is a multi-discipline education that effectively integrates the four disciplines of Science,Technology,Engineering,and Mathematics through problem-solving,project learning,task completion,and engineering design.After years of development,STEM education has matured in theory and has become a hot research topic in international science education.Scientific inquiry literacy is an important part of physics core literacy.It plays a key role in the life-long development of students and is an indispensable research content for high school physics teaching.In version 2017 of "General High School Physics Curriculum Standards" has more specific divisions for the cultivation of Scientific inquiry literacy.STEM education has the characteristics of situationality,interdisciplinary,designability,experience,and interoperability.It can play a good role in fostering students' problem awareness,scientific inquiry ability,analytical reasoning ability,and cooperative communication ability.Based on this,this paper combines STEM education with scientific inquiry literacy,and takes students' physical science inquiry literacy as the main clue to carry out research.Firstly,this article sorted out the domestic and international research situation of STEM education and scientific inquiry literacy through literature review method,and defined the concept of STEM education and scientific inquiry literacy.Then,on the basis of constructivist learning theory,middle school theory and inquiry learning theory,the feasibility of incorporating STEM education into high school physics teaching was analyzed;Next,according to the five levels of scientific inquiry literacy requirements,a questionnaire about the current status of physical science inquiry literacy training for high school students was compiled,and the reliability and validity of the test questionnaire were analyzed using Spss22 software.Afterwards,taking 400 high school students in two middle schools in Longyan as the research object,the questionnaire was used to understand the current status of students' physical science inquiry literacy cultivation,and attribution analysis was made to put forward the corresponding cultivation strategies.Finally,referring to Yu Quansheng's interdisciplinary integrated STEM teaching model,the teaching process was constructed from the five aspects of creating situations to elicit exploring questions or tasks,designing schemes,implementing schemes,analyzing data verification schemes and expression,and two specific teaching cases based on STEM education to cultivate students' physical science inquiry literacy were written,with a view to providing reference an for first-line physics teachers to cultivate students' scientific inquiry literacy.
