Curriculum comparison research is an important basic work of curriculum reform in various countries,and textbook comparison is an important content of curriculum comparison.The domestic research on the surface system of geography textbooks mostly focuses on the compulsory geography compulsory one(hereinafter referred to as the 2008 edition of geography textbooks)of the general high school curriculum standard experimental textbooks approved by the National Primary and Secondary School Textbooks Committee published by the People's Education Press in early 2004.Currently,provinces have entered the new curriculum reform,and Jilin Province is about to enter the new curriculum reform.Based on the specific period of the new curriculum reform in high school,a comparative study of the new and old geography textbooks in the 2008 edition and the first compulsory geography compulsory for 2019 general high school textbooks(hereinafter referred to as the 2019 edition of geography textbooks)approved by the Expert Committee of the National Textbook Committee published by People's Education Press Has strong practical significance.This article adopts the literature method,statistical method and comparative method.Under the guidance of the theory of textbook surface system theory,textbook organization theory,textbook compilation theory,and constructivist learning theory,it also refers to the curriculum standards that guide the two editions of geography textbooks.The textbook surface systems(text system,image system,and operating system)are compared to find similarities and differences,analyze the causes of similarities and differences,and propose the use of the 2019 edition of the geography textbooks for the causes.The specific conclusions and recommendations for use are as follows:In terms of the textbook structure,the basic structure of the two editions of the geography textbook is similar,but the 2019 edition has a new chapter "natural disaster" compared to the 2008 edition of the geography textbook.In terms of the textbook content,the two editions of the geography textbook contain multiple geographical elements,and basically follow the two edition Geography textbooks are recommended for writing textbooks and curriculum standards.The 2019 edition pays more attention to the cultivation of abilities and the selection of materials is closer to students' lives.The 2008 edition of geography textbooks focuses more on the cultivation of knowledge.Both textbook 'systems for geography textbooks present instructional guides in the form of introductions.They try to describe the concept of geography in simple language,and there are abundant teaching aids.The 2019 edition of the geography textbook not only sets the teaching guideline before each chapter,but also sets the teaching guideline after each chapter and each section.The expression of concepts and principles and the selection of teaching auxiliary materials are more vivid and specific,and are close to life.Both editions of the geography textbook image system pay attention to the use of images.The image types cover all aspects,and the information load of the image loads is more detailed and clear.Overall,the 2019 edition is more streamlined than the 2008 edition of the geography textbook image system.The operation system of the two editions of the geography textbook mainly analyzes the two aspects of "activity" and "case".The two editions of geography textbooks have a variety of "activity" types,with "analysis "accounting for the most,and "demonstrations" and "writing papers" at low proportions.The 2019 edition of the geography textbooks "experiment","drawing","calculation" and "data collection" accounted for more than the 2008 edition of the geography textbook,and the 2008 edition of the geography textbook "analysis","discussion" and "demo" And "filling maps and filling forms" accounted for more than the 2019 edition of the geography textbooks.Both geography textbooks emphasize the use of"cases".The 2008 edition is slightly higher than the number of "cases"in the geography textbook in 2019;the 2019 edition is more vivid and specific than the 2008 edition of the "cases" in geography textbooks,and is closer to life.The difference between the two geography textbooks is mainly due to changes in the curriculum structure and teaching objectives.When using the 2019 textbook,teachers can refer to the following suggestions:The text system should improve the introduction of materials,pay close attention to the students' focus,focus on concept teaching,and strengthen the concept map.use.The activity system should be based on students' cognitive development laws,follow the "recent development zone" principle,deepen the use of geographic information technology,and actively develop curriculum resources.The homework system should strengthen the combination of theory and practice,cultivate students'practical ability in geography,pay attention to performance evaluation,and make up for the deficiencies of single result evaluation.
