As an economically developed city in eastern my country,Nanjing entered an aging society as early as the 1990 s,about 10 years before my country as a whole entered an aging society. As of the end of 2017,the proportion of the elderly population in Nanjing has reached 14.07%,which shows that Nanjing has entered an aging society. The rapid development of aging and the large number of elderly people pose great challenges to elderly care services. How to actively respond to the aging of the population and to minimize the negative impact of the aging of the population on social and economic development has become an urgent problem for the Nanjing government. In this context,it is of great value to explore the spatial distribution of the elderly population and the configuration of elderly service facilities in Nanjing. This paper first analyzes the spatial distribution characteristics of the elderly population in Nanjing in 2013,and combines the characteristics of the elderly and non-elderly populations from 2000 to 2010 to classify the types of aging in Nanjing, summarizes and abstracts the spatial pattern of the elderly population in Nanjing, and further compares the streets.Based on the difference in the distribution pattern of the elderly population under the two spatial scales of the community, the author will explore its internal formation mechanism and conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the elderly service institutions in the main city of Nanjing on this basis. The results show that:(1)The inner city is the most severely aging area. The elderly population has a large proportion and high density.A relatively young ring is formed between the main city and the suburbs. The outer suburbs are aging and the proportion of the elderly population is relatively high.Large, low density;(2)On the basis of natural aging, coupled with the combined effect of urban development history, urban development policies, urban planning, and socio-economic factors,Nanjing's inner city has formed an agglomeration and dilution characterized by the replacement of elderly groups by elite groups And the residual aging-type dot-shaped areas characterized by relocation residues, the main city and the suburbs have formed an agglomeration and dilution characterized by the influx of foreign populations and an aging fan-shaped area with the demolition and resettlement of the elderly in the inner city as the main part, and the outer suburbs have formed Residual aging areas characterized by the outflow of a large number of young people;(3)With the refinement of the research scale, the proportion and density of the elderly population have shown more fragmented characteristics. The street level is conducive to grasping the overall spatial pattern characteristics, while the community level You can capture more and more detailed information. The community scale can identify the prominent problem areas that are not identified by the street scale,as well as the internal differences of the street;(4)The elderly care institutions in the main urban area and the community home elderly care facilities are complementary in number, and the elderly service facilities serve as a whole The supply capacity is not strong, and the non-radiated areas of the service area are mainly the fringe areas of the main city.
