Research Relating To The Upgrading Of The Care Facilities For The Aged People In Communities In Beijing Based On The Intelligent Elder Care Service

The community-level elderly care facilities for the elder people have become the most crucial aspect of elderly care in China contemporarily.It connects the majority of elderly care methods which are based on living in families and the social care system for the aged people.And it is the foundation for offering the elderly care facilities to the ordinary elder people.However,due to the reasons such as poor capital operation,lower level of technical skills,lack of the governmental supervision,the community-level elderly care facilities for the elder people could not meet the expectations and demands relating to the rapidly aging population.Nowadays,the smart technologies based on the Internet+ can efficiently integrate information and resources,meet the personalized needs of the elderly care service.Also,it can reduce the operating costs of community-based elderly care facilities and lay a technological foundation for providing the better services for elder people.In the period which the community elderly care facilities are old and have difficulties to operate,how to integrate new policies and new technologies into the design of community-based elderly care facilities is the key factor to provide the elder people with the practical support.Both the new policy and the new design principles emphasize the importance of elderly care services and the principles of building design that are compatible with elderly care services.The research proposal relating to the design needs that the elderly care services require the elderly care facilities to meet is rarely illustrated by the previous studies.This thesis is based on the research background and development trend which are mentioned previously.By analyzing the mathematical structure of the smart elderly care system,it is confirmed that the elderly care facilities could offer help and support to the elder people via the attributes of the products and the elderly care services.The elderly community care services are divided into community management services,life care services,health care services,and cultural services.Based on the analysis of the elderly care services,this paper summarizes the needs and the corresponding design strategies of the four services expect the community elderly care facilities to achieve.Meanwhile,this paper integrates the new requirements of the elderly care facilities principles and investigate the possible methods and problems exist in the design process in Beijing communities’ elderly care facilities via the perspective of elderly care services.The operators of the elderly care facilities in the community are the primary instructors of the facilities and providing the elderly care services.This paper seeks to illustrate that Beijing could be the typical modal which could provide the operators of other similar communities’ elderly care services with the complete,concrete,and referential design strategies in the chaotic elderly care market.
