This paper takes the modern Chinese conjunctions“Yao Bu”(??)“Bu Ran”(??)“Fou Ze”(??)as the research object,and from the perspective of ontological research of Chinese,discusses and investigates the three conjunctions,analyzes their similarities and differences in grammar,semantics and pragmatics,and puts forward some suggestions for teaching Chinese as a foreign language based on the analysis of errors made by foreign students.In the aspect of ontology,this paper makes an investigation from both synchronic and diachronic perspectives.In the synchronic study,the similarities and differences among semantic,syntactic and pragmatic levels are analyzed.Semantic aspects:the three are not equal in the number of meanings,among which the meaning of“Yao Bu”(??)is the most;“Bu Ran”(??)comes next,while“Fou Ze”(??)has the least meaning and is only used to negate the hypothesis.Syntactic:Compared with“Bu Ran”(??)and“Fou Ze”(??),the syntactic position of“Yao Bu”(??)is more flexible;All three can co-occur with modal verbs and correlative adverbs.Pragmatic aspects:they all have the function of coherence and negative substitution;The semantic types of cohesion mainly include opposite conditionality,causality and imperative.The subjectivity of the three is from strong to weak:“Fou Ze”(??)“Bu Ran”(??)“Yao Bu”(??).In the diachronic research,through the sorting of historical documents,we investigate the process of grammaticalization of the three,and analyze their grammaticalization mechanism.Based on the study of grammaticalization,this paper explains the similarities and differences in modern Chinese.In terms of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,on the basis of ontology research,this paper classifies the errors of“Yao Bu”(??)“Bu Ran”(??)“Fou Ze”(??)in combination with the errors of foreign students in the corpus.There are seven types of errors,including missubstitution of conjunctions,redundancy of conjunctions,improper collocation of conjunctions and misuse of conjunctions.Then the causes of the errors are analyzed.Finally,based on the error analysis of foreign students and the results of ontological research on Chinese language,this paper puts forward some suggestions on Chinese language teaching from two aspects of teachers'teaching and the compilation of textbooks.
