Research On Lijin's Documents In "Wen 46 Of The Eastern People"

Dongrenzhiwen siliu(《东人之文四六》)is compiled by Cui Xie(崔瀣),a literati in late Koryo(高丽).It is named for the fact that all the documents collected are tetragonal parallel prose,and all the articles in it are the domestic documents and diplornatic documents.The first to fourth volumes of the anthology are named as the Shida biaozhuang(事大表状),and most of them are the diplomatic documents of Koryo to Song Dynasty,Liao Dynasty,Jin Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty.Repreciously,these documents are disordered,so it’s difficult to make full use of.This article takes the diplomatic documents of Koryo to Jin Dynasty(Referred to as"Li-Jin diplomatic documents")(简称“丽金文书”)as the research object and discusses from the following three aspects.First of all,discussing the corpus’s compilation,publication,the historical value,and the author’s life.According to the records,the anthology was compiled in 1331-1338.This corpus reflects the cultural consciousness of the literati class that time.After Cui’s death,his friend Min Siping(闵思平)helped publish the anthology.It not only retains the excellent literature of that time,but also provides the literature source and style reference for the later anthology compilation.Cui is very talented,serving as an official for nearly 20 years.After returning to Koryo from Yuan Dynasty,he had a prosperous official career.However,due to the bad political environment and his integrity,he was never successful,so he retired to his hometown at the age of 44.Second of all,sorting and verifying the "Li-Jin diplomatic documents".First,this paper discusses what is Shida biaozhuang.Second,due to the disordered arrangement,I put these documents in chronological order and then discuss their departure time,arrival time and the messengers.Finally,The evolution and reasons of Koryo’s foreign Policy towards Jin Dynasty from 1115 to 1158.First,from 1115 to 1125:a strong foreign policy.During this period,Koryo refused to submit to Jin Dynasty and adopted a strong foreign policy towards Jin Dynasty.Second,from 1126 to 1158:a flexible foreign policy.This period,Koryo chose to become a vassal state of Jin dynasty.However,through the analysis of these documents such as Jinfengbiao(《进奉表》)and Shibiao(《誓表》),it is found that Koryo din’t really submit to Jin Dynasty during this period.Koryo adopted a flexible and independent diplomatic strategy,and actively negotiated with Jin Dynasty on the issue of BaoZhou(保州).Ultimately,Koryo obtained the extremely important territory of BaoZhou with the appearance of surrender.Third,the factors of influencing Koryo’s foreign policy towards Jin Dynasty.The international situation and national psychology jointly affected Koryo’s foreign policy.
