"Siliu Hua" is a literary critical work of Wang Zhi between South Song and North dynasty.In this thesis,Wang’s Siliu Hua is taken as the research object.The author’s life,writing and communication,as wellas the content and theoretical value of the book are studied.The following edition is based on Song Xianchun Baichuan Xuehai version Wang Gong Siliu Hua,with Xuejin Taoyuan,the codex of Wen Yuange Siku Quan Shu,the codex of Yungu Shantang and other versions for the annotated works.As the first work on Siliu by Wen dialect,Wang’s two volumes of Siliu Hua have important historical status and research value.The first chapter of this paper mainly starts with Wang’s life,works and friends,and makes a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the author of the Siliu Hua.The second chapter mainly studies the content and the value of the Siliu Hua.There are two kinds of parallel prose theory and the writer’s works cited in it.In terms of the value contained in the content,it mainly talks about two aspects,one is the theoretical value of parallel prose contained in it,the other is the consciousness of the history of parallel prose embodied in Wang Zhi.
