A Study Of Habermas's Rational Identity Thought

As we all know,"communicative rationality" is the core concept in Habermas' s thoughts.The academic world has more explored Habermas' s thoughts with communicative rationality as its starting point,but the metaphysical thoughts are rarely mentioned.In the following metaphysics thought,the rational identity thought is particularly prominent.In well-known works such as Post-metaphysical Thoughts and Reconstructing Historical Materialism,Habermas draws on the philosophy of language to explain in detail the development of science and technology,the diversity of culture,and so on in a complex and diverse reality society.The crisis of communication with people worsens and the fierce debate over difference and identity has formed his unique idea of rational identity.Regarding Habermas' s idea of rational identity,he gives an explanation in "Metaphysics Thoughts" "Only in the voice of pluralism,rational identity can be understood-transformed from one language to another A language is possible in principle ","There is a weak and fleeting rational identity in the language intermediary,this rational identity is not indulged in a universality of idealism that transcends special and individual and cannot extricate itself ".In other words,Habermas' s idea of rational identity is a criticism of meaning theory based on the "linguistic philosophy" of the 20 th century.Habermas examines the dialectical relationship between identity and difference from the perspective of linguistics.In his view,language inherently has the purpose of understanding.Therefore,Habermas believes that in the language medium,There is a weak,transient rational identity.This article first combines the era background and theoretical background of Habermas' s rational identity thought,and explores the origin of the thought formed by the theory deeply;secondly,from the life world,inter-subjectivity,and compound society can establish a rational identity.This idea is elaborated in detail;then it is further analyzed through the confrontation with the philosophers of Foucault,Liotta and Rorty;and then from the three aspects of Marx's communication theory,reflection on traditional rationality and the rationality of communication behavior A systematic analysis of the value of the theory and its inherent limitations is made.Finally,it analyzes three aspects of interpersonal communication,social communication and international communication to explore the realistic inspiration ofits rational identity.
