Objective:To observe the effect of intermediate frequency pulse electronic therapy on acute gouty arthritis under the guidance of TCM meridian tendon theory by comparing the simple application of loxoprofen tablets and loxoprofen tablets plus intermediate frequency pulse electronic therapy guided by the meridian tendon theory of traditional Chinese medicine.Materials and methods:According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,64 patients with acute gouty arthritis treated in the second Department of Orthopaedics,Shenyang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from March 1,2019 to May 1,2020 were selected as subjects. The general data of the patients(site, sex, course of disease, age, symptom and sign score of gouty arthritis before treatment, serum uric acid concentration index,VAS score)were collected.According to the method of random control table, the patients were divided into treatment group(n=30)and control group(n=32).In the treatment group,2 patients were treated with other treatments during the trial, which affected the results of the trial,so they were excluded. The control group was treated with loxoprofenna tablets 60 mg orally three times a day,and the treatment group was treated with intermediate frequency pulse electric therapy once a day for 20 minutes on the basis of the same oral dose of loxoprofenna tablets. Each group was treated continuously for 1 week.Select three time points before treatment,2 days after treatment,7 days after treatment to observe the symptoms and signs score of gouty arthritis,VAS score, serum uric acid concentration(UA)and other detection results to evaluate the curative effect. The judgment of curative effect(effective rate)is divided into four standards:clinical control, effective, effective and ineffective according to the requirements stipulated in the 2002 edition of the guiding principles for Clinical Research of New drugs of traditional Chinese Medicine(trial). After the end of the above treatment, the patients were evaluated and judged respectively.According to the standard, all the patients who completed the whole course of treatment and all the curative effect evaluation and follow-up were statistically analyzed, and the experimental data were sorted out by SPSS25.0 statistical software. Results:Among the 64 patients who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria,2 patients in the treatment group were excluded because 2 patients in the treatment group took other treatment measures during the clinical trial and interfered with the results of the trial. The remaining 62 patients completed treatment,follow-up and evaluation.1.There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of sex, course of disease, age, symptom and sign score of gouty arthritis, serum uric acid concentration index and VAS score before treatment, suggesting that the two groups were clinically comparable.2.The symptom and sign scores of gouty arthritis in the two groups were better than those before treatment at 2 days after treatment and 7 days after treatment(P<0.05),and the scores at 7 days after treatment in the two groups were better than those at 2 days after treatment(P<0.05).The score of symptoms and signs of gouty arthritis in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.01).3.The VAS pain score in the two groups was better than that before treatment at 2 days and 7 days after treatment, and the VAS pain score in the treatment group was better than that in the control group after treatment.4.After treatment, the concentration of serum uric acid in the two groups was better than that before treatment(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).5.The effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%,while that of the control group was 84.38%.The effective rate of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The intermediate frequency pulse electronic therapy based on the meridian tendon theory of traditional Chinese medicine has a significant effect in the treatment of pain, swelling and other symptoms of gouty arthritis in the acute stage, and can achieve the effect of rapid pain relief.2.Intermediate frequency pulse electron therapy is a safe and efficient treatment method.Combined with the theory of meridian tendons in traditional Chinese medicine,it has significant clinical significance to quickly relieve the symptoms of soft tissue pain during the acute attack of gouty arthritis.
