Clinical Observation Of Qingjin Huatan Decoction In The Treatment Of Bronchiectasis Complicated By Infection (phlegm-heat Obstructing The Lung Syndrome)

Purpose:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Qingjin Huatan Decoction in the treatment of bronchiectasis complicated with infection(phlegm heat obstructing the lung syndrome),so as to lay the foundation for the clinical application of classical prescriptions.Materials and Methods:Methods from September 2019 to September 2020,80patients with bronchiectasis complicated with infection were selected from the respiratory department of the inpatient department of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of traditional Chinese medicine.The patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine western medicine,and the experimental group was treated with Qingjin Huatan Decoction on the basis of the control group.The course of treatment was 2 weeks.Before and 2 weeks after the treatment,TCM symptom efficacy,TCM syndrome integral,single TCM symptom score,inflammation index(WBC,NEUT%,CRP,PCT),blood gas analysis(Pa O₂,Pa CO₂,Sa O₂),lung ventilation function(FEV₁%predicted value,FEV₁/FVC(%),BSI grade,m MRC score,sputum culture results and lung involvement degree were recorded.SPSS 26.0 software was used to analyze and calculate the data.Results:1.Before treatment,the two groups had baseline comparability in age,gender,course of disease and bronchiectasis severity index(BSI)score;2.There was no significant difference in TCM syndrome efficacy,TCM syndrome score and single TCM symptom between the experimental group and the control group before treatment(P>0.05);After treatment,the comparison within the experimental group,within the control group and between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group.3.There was no significant difference in inflammatory indexes(WBC,neut%,CRP,PCT),blood gas analysis indexes(Pa O2,Pa CO2,Sa O2),lung function indexes(FEV1%predicted value,FEV1/FVC(%)between the experimental group and the control group before treatment(P>0.05);The comparison between the two groups after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group.4.Before treatment,the BSI grade,MMRC score,bacterial infection and pulmonary lobe involvement of the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05);There was no significant difference in BSI grade,MMRC score and pulmonary lobe involvement between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05);But after treatment,the MMRC score and bacterial infection in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).5.There was no obvious adverse reaction in the two groups.Conclusion1.Qingjin Huatan Decoction can significantly improve the clinical efficiency of patients with bronchiectasis(phlegm heat obstructing lung syndrome).2.Qingjin Huatan Decoction can significantly reduce the TCM syndrome score and relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with phlegm heat obstructing lung syndrome.3.The Qing Jin Huatan Decoction can improve respiratory function,oxygenation and CO2retention in patients with bronchiectasis and lung syndrome.4.Qingjin Huatan Decoction may improve bacterial infection,reduce the level of inflammatory indicators,and curb the further development of the disease.5.There was no adverse event during the trial.It was said that the Ming and Qing Jin Hua Tan decoction was safe and effective.
