Purpose:To observe the clinical efficacy of eye acupuncture in treating limb numbness in patients with ischaemic stroke(Qi deficiency and blood stasis type).Material and method:Both groups were collected from patients admitted to the brain K2 ward and outpatient clinic of Liaoning Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation Centre from2018.11 to 2019.11.A total of 60 patients who met the inclusion criteria for post-stroke limb numbness with evidence of Qi deficiency and blood stasis were divided into 30 cases in the treatment group and 30 cases in the control group by the random number table method, both groups applied western medicine basic treatment and rehabilitation training, the experimental group was given The test group was treated with eye acupuncture and the control group was treated with body acupuncture. The treatment course was 4 weeks, with a break of 2 days after 5 days of continuous treatment, and both groups were treated for 28 days. The patients were evaluated by using the Sensory Impairment Assessment Score and the Digital Numbness Score to assess the numbness of the limbs, the simplified Fugl-Meyer Scale to assess the motor function, the modified Barthel Index to assess the ability of daily living, and the Chinese Medicine Evidence Score to assess the symptoms of Chinese medicine. The statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS25.0 statistical software.Results:1.Comparing the sensory impairment scores of the two groups before and after treatment, the simplified Fugl-Meyer score and the modified Barthel index showed different degrees of improvement, and the digital numbness score and the TCM syndrome score both showed significant improvements.2.The test group had an advantage over the control group in terms of improved sensory impairment scores,FMA scores, modified Barthel index, digital numbness scores and TCM evidence scores, and the values were statistically different(P< 0.05).3.According to the analysis of the data, the total clinical efficiency of the treatment group was 93.33%,and the total clinical efficiency of the control group was 73.33%,and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P < 0.05),and the clinical efficacy of the test group was significantly higher than that of the control group.Conclusion:1.Both eye acupuncture combined with conventional Western medicine and body acupuncture combined with conventional Western medicine are effective in the treatment of post-stroke limb numbness.2.Both eye acupuncture combined with conventional Western medicine and body acupuncture combined with conventional Western medicine improved the patient's motor function, ability to perform daily activities and Chinese medicine symptoms.3.The clinical efficacy of eye acupuncture combined with conventional Western medicine in the treatment of post-stroke limb numbness is superior to that of body acupuncture combined with conventional Western medicine.
