The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee once again proposed to continuously improve the mechanism and system to resolve major risks.As an important part of it,crisis management has received more and more attention from local governments.Among them,crisis education,as an important component of crisis management work,plays a vital role in promoting the smooth development of local crisis management work.With the frequent occurrence of crisis incidents,the development of crisis education in various regions is imminent.In the vast rural areas,with vast areas and large population flows,the development of local crisis education is of great significance to enhancing the local public's ability to resist frustration.This study uses questionnaire survey,literature research and interview methods.Taking major public health incidents that broke out in 2020 as an example,we visited some towns and villages such as Yongshan County,Zhenxiong County and We Chat County in Zhaotong City through field investigations,and used education supplies.And education demand theory,resilience governance theory and crisis management theory analyze the problems of crisis education in Zhaotong City,and propose improvement countermeasures.The content of this article is mainly divided into the following parts.First of all,it mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic,the research status at home and abroad,possible innovations and deficiencies.Secondly,it mainly introduces the core concepts involved in this research,related theoretical basis and an overview of crisis education for the rural public,including the characteristics of the rural public,the necessity of crisis education for the rural public,and the composition of crisis education for the rural public.Next,it introduces the current situation of rural crisis education in Zhaotong City during major public health incidents.After field investigations and visits,it is found that the rural public in Zhaotong mainly has the following problems,namely,weak or lack of scientific awareness education for the rural public's crisis;weakening of the moral awareness education for the rural public's crisis;education of the rural public's crisis prevention awareness Insufficiency and the rural public are prone to irrational behavior during the crisis.And the fourth part discusses and proposes the improvement strategy of crisis education in Zhaotong from four aspects: the reduction stage,preparation stage,reaction stage and recovery stage of crisis management.
