"Treatise on Febrile Diseases and Miscellaneous Diseases" is the banner of traditional Chinese medicine. The number of prescriptions in the book is small and simple, the theory is true, and it is not exaggerated,so it is highly praised by doctors. The Chinese prescriptions in the book are called "Classic Recipe",and they are the chief of all prescriptions. However, due to the change of dynasties and the changes in the weights and measures system, different standards for the conversion of the Classic Recipe dose appeared, which became an unsolvable mystery. In the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties, although the society was turbulent and the political situation was chaotic, this historical period inherited the Han Dynasty and opened the Sui and Tang Dynasties. The four schools of Confucianism,Buddhism,Taoism and Xuan were introduced and foreign cultures were integrated.Doctors do not talk about theory and pay attention to clinical practice, which makes the development of medicine in the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties unique. The representative prescription in its historical background is "Elbow Reserve Emergency Prescription".The prescription is simple and effective, and it is called "Lingnan's No.1 Medical Book".Therefore, based on the"Elbow Reserve Emergency Recipe",a comparative study was conducted with the 50-flavored drug dosage of the Classic Recipe, and the dosage rule of the "Elbow Back Recipe" was summarized,so as to support the dosage of Zhang Zhongjing's prescription and provide guidance for clinically reasonable and effective dosage.Purposes(1)Based on the traditional Chinese medicines in the decoction of "Elbow Reserve Emergency Prescription",and taking the conversion of the medicine dosage in Ge Hong's period as the standard, summarize the dosage and characteristics of Ge Hong's period.(2)Taking the prescriptions of "Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases" as the source, and comparing the same and similar prescriptions of "The Back of the Elbow",it provides favorable evidence for the dosage of the Classical prescriptions.(3)The medicine with the highest frequency in "The Back of the Elbow" is Ge Hong's favorite medicine.By analyzing the source, processing and application of tempeh and cohosh, the efficacy characteristics of frequently used medicines are summarized, and the scope of medical treatment is expanded.Analyze the reasons for choosing such drugs.(4)Based on 50 drugs in "Treatise on Febrile Diseases and Miscellaneous Diseases",statistically analyze the commonly used dose range, average dose, most commonly used dose, and dose distribution interval of the decoction of "Elbow Reserve Emergency" in the form of graphs.Describe it,and then compare the dosages of the two books to prove the dosage of Classical prescriptions.(5)By comparing the 2020 edition of the "National Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China",looking for the differences between the two,so as to provide guidance for clinically reasonable and effective drug dosage range.Method(1)Use Excel form to enter data:select 50 commonly used medicines in classic prescriptions, enter the doses of the drugs appearing in "The Back of the Elbow",and enter only the doses of decoctions.Dosages in powders, pills, pills, ointments and other dosage forms will not be entered.2)Use SPSS20.0 statistical software and basic statistical methods(arithmetic mean, median, variance, standard deviation, dispersion, correlation and other concepts)to count the frequency of drug occurrence?the usual dose, average dose, and dose distribution interval of the drug,Analyze the data after the statistics are completed, and obtain the range of commonly used drug dosages of "Elbow Reserve Emergency"";and compare with the dosage of Classic Recipe and the prescribed amount in the 2020 edition of "Chinese Pharmacopoeia".ResultsThrough the statistical analysis and exploration of 50 Classic Recipe in "Elbow Reserve Emergency",the content is from top to bottom, from prescription comparison to drug dosage comparison,And found the characteristics of the former drugs in their frequency,so as to give an overview of individual drugs, from far to recent, from ancient prescriptions to comparison with the "Chinese Pharmacopoeia",and conduct multi-angle and multi-level analysis, and the conclusions are as follows:(1)There are 205 oral decoctions in "Elbow Reserve Emergency Recipe”.The chapters in the book with more than ten prescriptions are mainly concentrated in these four, namely the prescription for treating typhoid fever, the prescription for treating cough, the prescription for treating heartache, and the prescription for treating cholera. The number of commonly used drugs in the 205 first prescriptions is 1,the maximum number of drugs is 14,the average number of drugs is 2.7,a total of 160 drugs, the total frequency of drug appearances is 586 times.Sorted by frequency,so the cumulative frequency>50%is used as common medicine. The statistical results are:licorice(43),tempeh(31),ginger(29),cassia twig(28),gardenia(18),evodia(15),rhubarb(15),jujube(13),cohosh(12),scutellaria(12),coptis(12),dried ginger(12),peony(10),Changshan(10),ephedra(9),Ginseng(9),Citrus aurantium(9),Pinellia(9).From the commonly used dose, average dose, range of commonly used dose, maximum dose, and minimum dose of the drugs in the decoction,The 18 drugs in "Back of the Elbow" ranged from the minimum dose of 3.45g to the maximum amount of 341.1g,with a difference of 337.65g.Among the 18 commonly used drugs, the commonly used dose of 6 drugs is 27.6g,the commonly used dose of 3 drugs is 41.4g,and the commonly used dose of 5 drugs is not a single value. The usual dosage of Hovenia aurantium and gardenia is nearly 13.8g.the usual dosage of jujube is nearly 41.4g,and the usual dosage of tempeh is 113.7g.The usual doses and average doses of 11 medicines are close to the same, while the usual doses of cohosh and ginger differ greatly from the average doses. The usual doses and average doses of evodia and tempeh are much higher than other drugs. And the lower limit of the commonly used dose range is 1 tael to 3 taels(13.8g-41.4g),the upper limit range is 2 taels to 4 taels(27.6g-55.2g),the upper and lower limits of individual drugs. The values are inconsistent, and the upper limit is widely used.(2)There are 50 identical and similar prescriptions in "Treatise on Febrile Diseases and Miscellaneous Diseases" and "Behind Prescriptions of the Elbow",including 31 identical prescriptions and 19 similar prescriptions. Most of the same and similar prescriptions are concentrated in the thirteenth chapter of in "Behind Prescriptions of the Elbow".Nearly 1/5 of the prescriptions originated from Zhongjing Fang.(3)Among the drugs with the highest statistical frequency in the decoction of "Behind Prescriptions of the Elbow",nearly half of the first 12 drugs have the effects of clearing heat, purging fire and detoxification, and then explored that tempeh is suitable for abdominal pain, exogenous typhoid fever, stroke, cough, etc.Cohosh is suitable for symptoms such as tingling in the heart and abdomen, external manifestations, and carbuncle.(4)The 50 medicines of Classic prescription are compared in "Behind Prescriptions of the Elbow",among which the commonly used doses are mainly concentrated between 2 or 3 taels. The average dose of "Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases" is slightly higher than the average dose of "Behind Prescriptions of the Elbow".The average dose of only 9 medicines in "Behind Prescriptions of the Elbow" is higher than the average dose of"Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases".They are Rehmannia,Bupleurum,Ginger,Alisma,Longgu,Atractylodes,Rhizoma Coptidis,Dried Ginger, and Citrus aurantium. The average dose difference of most drugs is less than 20g,only the average dose difference of Ophiopogon japonicus and gypsum is 188.94g and 88.85g respectively,so the average dose of the two books is in balance. The two books have the same doses of ginger, melon, magnolia, forsythia, and ginseng in the minimum amount. The maximum dose difference is 55.2g,and the minimum dose difference of other drugs is between 0-30g.Therefore,the average dose, the commonly used dose, and the smallest amount are distinguished. The overall difference is not big,and basically remains the same, while the largest amount is compared, the largest difference between the two books is Ophiopogon japonicus, which reaches 634.8g.Among them, the maximum value of 9 medicines remains the same, and the maximum value of 8 medicines in "Behind Prescriptions of the Elbow" is higher than that of"Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases".They are licorice(27.6g),ginger(110.4g),and Guizhi(138g).,Gardenia(85.8g),Coptis(55.2g),Dried ginger(27.6g),Rehmannia glutinosa(220.8g),Dragon bone(55.2g),and these 8 medicines are the most frequently used medicines in "Behind Prescriptions of the Elbow".(5)Comparing the commonly used dose interval of "Behind Prescriptions of the Elbow" with the 2020 version of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, there is an overlap in the commonly used dose intervals of 9 drugs, and there is no overlap in the doses of 33 drugs. The lower limit of the drug dose in "Behind Prescriptions of the Elbow" is higher than the upper limit of the 2020 version of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia.ConclusionThrough exploration, the decoction and dosage statistics of "Behind Prescriptions of the Elbow",the comparison of 50 medicines in "Behind Prescriptions of the Elbow",comparison of the same and similar prescriptions of "Behind Prescriptions of the Elbow" and "Treatise on Febrile Miscellaneous Diseases",and an overview of Cimicifuga and tempeh in the decoction of "Back of the Elbow".The dosage of classic prescriptions in Zhongjing period can be confirmed from 4 aspects.(1)Judging from the preface of Ge Hong's book,Ge Hong's "The Back of the Elbow" is intended to be used by the people in the poor villages and not for the use of doctors. The common people do not have to be unable to,let alone dare to use other official scales, and can only use the official standards.(2)From the perspective of the dosage of the Chinese decoction in "The Back of the Elbow",the quantity of the medicine in "The Back of the Elbow" is precise and simple, and the dosage has the characteristics of large dosage.(3)Judging from the comparison of prescriptions, nearly one-fifth of the decoctions in"The Back of the Elbow" come from Zhang Zhongjing's medical books, which are derived from Zhongjing's prescription, and the amount of natural prescriptions does not change much.(4)From the comparison of the 50 drug doses of the classic prescriptions, there is no significant difference between the average dose, the usual dose, the usual dose interval, and the minimum amount of the 50 drugs in the "Elbow Reserve Emergency".In particular, the maximum amount of the 50 medicines in the classic prescriptions in "The Back of the Elbow"has a few medicines that are even larger than the dosage of "Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases. At the same time,it can provide guidance for modern clinics from two aspects.(1)The thinking method of diagnosis and treatment of several prescriptions for one disease can be applied to modern clinical practice.(2)The usual dose, average dose, maximum and minimum changes of a drug can be explored for a single drug dose threshold.(3)Comparing the commonly used dose range of "Elbow Reserve Emergency"with the 2020 version of "Chinese Pharmacopoeia",it reflects that there are insufficient and insufficient current clinical dosages and commonly used dose ranges.
