Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction in the treatment of posterior circulation ischemic vertigo of Qi blood deficiency type,so as to provide basis for further clinical application. Methods:The subjects of this study were 124 patients with posterior circulation ischemic vertigo who met the experimental conditions and had treatment requirements in the Department of encephalopathy,Wuyi Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine of Jiangmen City from December 2018 to December 2020.They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine betahistine tablets, while the experimental group was treated with conventional western medicine Buzhong Yiqi Decoction(decoction). The course of treatment was two weeks, followed up for one month. In the experimental group,2 patients were eliminated due to the lack of regularity of medication, while in the control group,3 patients were eliminated due to early withdrawal. The vertigo disability scale,European vertigo assessment scale,TCD examination results and TCM syndrome score table were selected to evaluate the curative effect. The curative effect of the two groups before and after the intervention was observed and recorded.Results:1.TCM syndrome score: before the intervention, there was no significant difference in TCM syndrome score between the two groups(P>0.05);after the intervention, the main symptoms, concurrent syndromes and secondary syndromes of vertigo in the two groups were improved, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).At the same time, the results of comparison between the two groups showed that P<0.05 showed that the experimental group had obvious advantages.2.Comparison of TCM syndrome score: the intervention of the two groups on posterior circulation ischemic vertigo was effective. In terms of total effective rate, the control group and the experimental group were72.88% and 91.67% respectively, and the experimental group had more advantages than the control group(P<0.05).3.Dizziness handicap: before the intervention, there was no significant difference in the vertigo disability scale between the two groups(P>0.05);after the intervention, the two groups showed a significant decline(P<0.05),and the comparison between the two groups showed a significant difference(P<0.05);both groups could improve the vertigo disability scale, and the experimental group was better than the control group.4.The European Evaluation of Vertigo scale: before the intervention, there was no significant difference in the European vertigo rating scale between the two groups(P>0.05);after the intervention, compared with before the intervention, the two groups were significantly reduced(P<0.05),and the result of comparison between the two groups was p<0.05.Both groups could improve the European vertigo rating scale, but the experimental group showed obvious advantages.5.Transcranial Doppler ultrasonography(TCD)results: Before the intervention, there was no significant difference in the TCD examination results between the two groups(P>0.05);after the intervention, compared with before the intervention, the TCD examination results of the two groups were significantly reduced(P<0.05),at the same time, the results of comparison between the two groups were also p<0.05,that is,there were significant differences;both groups could improve the TCD examination results, and the experimental group had significant advantages.Conclusion:1.Buzhong Yiqi decoction combined with betastastine can effectively improve the clinical efficacy of TCM syndrome in patients with post-circulation ischemic vertigo and deficiency of qi and blood.2.Based on the conventional treatment of western medicine, the combination of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction and betastastine has better efficacy and safety in improving the Vertigo Disability Scale,European Vertigo Rating Scale and TCD test results of patients with posterior circulation ischemic vertigo and qi and blood deficiency syndrome compared with the conventional treatment of western medicine alone.
