| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Jianpi Bufei ointment on the pulmonary and spleenic qi asthenia syndrome in children with asthma in remission stage.Methods:Fifty-eight children with pulmonary and spleenic qi asthenia syndrome in remission stage of asthma were treated with Jianpi Bufei ointment for a course of 4 weeks.The overall efficacy of Jianpi bufei ointment in treating the pulmonary and spleenic qi asthenia syndrome in remission stage of asthma was counted and the TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment were compared.Follow-up at 3 and 6 months after the end of treatment was performed to score the syndrome of the pulmonary and spleenic qi asthenia by using the TCM syndrome integral scale,and to count the reduction rate of asthma attacks.Results:A total of 58 children with asthma in remission stage were included in this study,of which 2 cases fell off during the observation process,and a total of 56 cases completed clinical observation.(1)The total effective rate of Jianpi Bufei ointment was83.93%;(2)Compared with before treatment,the total scores of TCM syndromes,TCM main symptoms and TCM secondary symptoms at the end of treatment were decreased(P<0.05);(3)3 months and 6 months after the end of treatment,cough,susceptibility to colds,and shortness of breath in the manifestations of pulmonary qi deficiency,anorexia and loose stools in the manifestations of spleenic qi deficiency,decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.01);(4)Compared with before treatment,the reduction rates of asthma attacks at 3 months and 6 months after treatment were51.79% and 64.29% respectively.(5)A small amount of epistaxis appeared in 3 children during the treatment process,which could be relieved by themselves.Conclusion:Jianpi-bufei ointment can improve the clinical symptoms of the pulmonary and spleenic qi asthenia syndrome in children with asthma in remission stage,reduce the number of asthma attacks,less adverse reactions,and have a good long-term effect. |
