Clinical Observation Of Thunder-fire Moxibustion Combined With Abdominal Massage In The Treatment Of Qi Deficiency Type Functional Constipation

Objective:In this study,patients with functional constipation of qi deficiency type were taken as the observation object,thunder and fire moxibustion combined with abdominal rubbing therapy was taken as the test factor,and abdominal rubbing therapy alone was taken as the control,evaluation the main type of deficiency of functional constipation in patients with constipation symptom scores of each dimension score,and Spontaneous Complete Bowel Movements(SCBM)and the influence of TCM individual symptom scores of syndromes.To provide a feasible method and basis for the clinical treatment of functional constipation with qi deficiency.Methods:The 60 patients who met the included criteria were divided into the observation group(thunder and fire moxibustion combined with abdominal rubbing therapy)and the control group(abdominal rub treatment was used alone)according to the random number table.The observation group and the control group fell off 1 case and 3 cases respectively,with 56 effective cases,29 cases in the observation group and27 cases in the control group.Both groups were treated 3 times a week and once every other day for 6 weeks,with a total of 18 times.The total score of major constipation symptoms,score of each dimension,weekly SCBM,and TCM syndrome symptom score were recorded before treatment,2,4,and 6 weeks,respectively,and the data were statistically analyzed.During the treatment,all patients drank more water,ate more dietary fiber food and took proper exercise.Results:1.Comparison of results within the group:(1)Observation group:compared with before treatment,the total score of major symptoms of constipation at week 2,4 and 6was decreased,and weekly SCBM was increased(p<0.05);At the end of the 6th week of treatment,the scores of constipation symptoms and TCM syndromes were all lower than those before treatment(p<0.05).(2)Control group:compared with before treatment,there were no significant differences in the total score of major constipation symptoms and weekly SCBM at the 2nd week(p>0.05),but the total score of major constipation symptoms decreased at the 4th and 6th week,while the weekly SCBM increased(p<0.05).After 6 weeks of treatment,the scores of symptoms of constipation,abdominal pain likes rubbing,and loss of appetite were all lower than those before treatment(p<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the scores of feces weakness and fatigue and lazy speech before and after treatment(p>0.05).The observation group had obvious curative effect.2.Comparison of results between groups:after 2,4 and 6 weeks of treatment,the effect of thunder and fire moxibustion combined with abdominal rubbing was better than that of the control group in both aspects of effectively improving the main symptoms of constipation and increasing weekly SCBM(p<0.05);After the 6th week of treatment,the efficacy of observation group was better than control group in improving patients' defecation traits,feeling of defecation effort,feeling of defecation falling and distension,feeling of abdominal distension,reducing defecation time,and single symptom of TCM syndrome of Qi deficiency and constipation(p<0.05).There was no statistical significance in changing defecation frequency between the two groups(p>0.05).The observation group was better than the control group in improving the symptoms related to functional constipation of Qi deficiency type.Conclusion:Thunder-fire moxibustion combined with abdominal rubbing therapy in the treatment of functional constipation of qi deficiency can effectively improve the symptoms related to qi deficiency and its treatment effect time is faster,and the use of thunder-fire moxibustion can improve the therapeutic effect of abdominal rubbing.
