Objective:The prevalence of hyperuricemia(HUA)is increasing with the social development and the improvement of living standard during the past few decades. At present,a large number of studies have shown that HUA is a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. This study is to explore the ralationship between HUA and cardiovascular events as well as the relationship between different levels of uric acid and cardiovasvualr events in hypertension. Methods:In October 2018,6381 patients in Shougang Hospital in Beijing were investigated by questionnaire, physical examination and blood biochemical test.According to the SUA and previous medical history, they were divided into the HUA group and non-HUA group. The prevalence of ASCVD in the two groups was analyzed.Accodring to the SUA,they were divided into the quartile group to analyze the relationship of different SUA with ASCVD.The correlation between uric acid and ASCVD was analyzed by logistic regression. Results:?In the HUA group, age,PAD,cardiorenal events, diabetes mellitus and hypertension,SBP,DBP,BMI,waist circumference,FBG,serum creatinine,CHO,TG,LDL-C levels were significantly higher than those in the non-HUA group. The HDL-C level was significantle higher than those in the non-HUA group. The prevalence of AS CVD,CHD and PAD in the female subjects was higher than that in male subjects(P<0.05).?There were no significant differences in the prevalence of ASCVD at different SUA levels, but the prevalence of ASCVD and CHD increased with the increase of uric acid level in female subjects(P<0.05).? After adjusting for a variety of confounding factors, the correlation between HUA and ASCVD was not sustained in woman.? The prevalence of ASCVD,CHD and stroke in patients among HUA with hypertension was significantly higher than that in the patients among HUA with normal blood pressure(P<0.01),while no significant differences in the prevalence of PAD and cardiorenal ev ents were found. However, there were no significant differences in the ASCVD pre valence among patients with hypertension in two groups(P>0.05).? With the increased risk of cardiovascular events in hypertension, the level of SUA and the prevalence of HUA increased(P<0.01).Conclusion:In female patients,HUA was associated with the risk of ASCVD and CHD,but not independently. The prevalence of ASCVD increased with the increase of SUA level in women, but not in men. There was no difference in the prevalence of ASCVD between the two groups in hypertension. There was a correlation between SUA levels and different risk stratification of cardiovascular events in hypertension.
