Research On The Usability Design Of Elderly Wheelchairs Based On FBS Model

As our country's aging society continues to deepen,the issue of pensions has become the focus of social attention.Wheelchairs not only play a role in transportation for the elderly,but also an important tool for the elderly to keep in touch with the outside society.The current research and exploration of wheelchairs for the elderly are mainly focused on functional innovation and technical applications,and there is little research on the usability design of elderly wheelchairs.However,ignoring the availability of wheelchairs for the elderly can easily lead to complex functions and operating methods that increase the pressure on users.This paper combines the function-behavior-structure(FBS)model in the field of product innovation design to study the usability of elderly wheelchairs,meet the needs of elderly users,comply with user behavior patterns,and improve user experience.Firstly,this paper analyzes and studies the current situation of the availability of elderly wheelchairs,FBS models and elderly wheelchairs based on the aging society trend,combining the relevant theoretical knowledge of usability design to summarize the usability dimensions of elderly wheelchairs,and analyze the relationship between the FBS model and the usability of elderly wheelchair.Secondly,through the questionnaire survey method,observation method,interview method,the functional requirements and operating behavior patterns of elderly wheelchair users are studied,the function,behavior and structure modules of the elderly wheelchair FBS model are constructed,and the FBS model of the elderly wheelchair usability design is constructed.and analyse.Finally,according to the FBS model of elderly wheelchairs constructed above,the usability design elements of elderly wheelchairs are divided into functional elements,behavioral elements and structural elements,and the usability design phase of elderly wheelchairs is divided into functional mining phase,operation mode research phase,and structure setting Phase and usability testing phase,and summarize the usability design strategy of each phase.Carry out the scheme design practice according to the obtained design strategy,and carry out the usability evaluation and test of the scheme to verify the feasibility of the strategy.
