Study On Usability Design Of Elderly Moped

At present,transportation products for the elderly have become the market trend of the elderly and are developing rapidly.Studies have shown that daily going out can alleviate and prevent psychological problems such as loneliness and depression in the elderly.However,the user needs of the elderly mobility products have not been met.Most of the elderly mobility vehicles on the market only make simple local modifications on the basis of the original products,without in-depth research from the elderly users' needs,living habits,product availability,human-computer interaction and other aspects.Therefore,in view of the rapid development of the elderly market and the lack of research on the elderly products,the usability of the elderly moped was studied.The purpose is to accurately locate user needs,determine the usability of the moped in combination with the usability test of the moped,take this as the key point of the moped design,propose the usability evaluation model for the moped,and carry out iterative design for the studied moped to improve its usability.The significance of this study is to provide safe and comfortable moped products while improving the elderly market,so as to improve the quality of life of the elderly and protect their physical and mental health to a certain extent.First of all,literature review method and analytical induction method are used to sort out and learn the current research status of usability engineering,review the current research progress of usability of the elderly moped,analyze the deficiencies and deficiencies in the existing research,roughly determine the research direction,and sort out the characteristics of elderly users.According to its characteristics,a questionnaire was designed to investigate travel habits,user needs,consumption intentions and other aspects to obtain complete user information and summarize user needs.According to the investigation and analysis results,the Kano model questionnaire was made to obtain the expected demand and charm demand of the elderly moped.Secondly,according to relevant usability research theories,methods and technologies,combined with the characteristics of the moped,the usability evaluation method and design principles of the moped are determined.According to the usability test process,design the usability test scheme for the elderly moped,determine the test purpose,test process,test number,test equipment and other factors,carry out the test and record the test results.Sort out and analyze the availability test data,analyze from both quantitative and qualitative aspects,determine the current vehicle availability problem and establish the availability evaluation system and model.Finally,the usability design elements suitable for the elderly moped are summarized,the design scheme for the elderly moped is proposed,and the iterative design and evaluation of the body shape and handlebar human-machine interface of the elderly moped are carried out.
