Due to the rapid economic development,the competition within the construction industry continues to increase,followed by the rising prices of labor and raw materials,real estate sales approval difficulties,shortage of land resources and other practical problems.It makes the construction cost rise and has a great impact on the economic benefits of construction enterprises.Therefore,China's construction enterprises pay more and more attention to cost management.However,due to the characteristics of many types of projects,long duration and wide coverage of construction enterprises,and some managers of the company do not have strong awareness of cost management and limited cognition,the cost management methods adopted by them have not effectively improved the management efficiency.In this paper,the case company Z construction company as the research object,according to the unique characteristics of the construction industry,focus on the cost management problems of construction enterprises.Based on the theory of cost management,this paper studies the cost management of construction companies by means of literature analysis and questionnaire survey.The first is to understand the actual situation of Z construction company management.Based on the existing theoretical basis and research results at home and abroad,this paper summarizes the relevant theories and principles of cost management.Then,through the analysis of the actual situation of Z construction company cost management,understand the company management organization structure,cost control and assessment system,and then through the questionnaire survey,to understand whether there are problems in all aspects of cost management of Z construction enterprise.Accordingly,the corresponding improvement measures are put forward:(1)improving the organizational structure of the company.(2)Accurate preparation of target cost.(3)Implement cost control.(4)Improve the cost management system.(5)Establish supplier resource database.(6)Establish and improve the cost performance appraisal system.Finally,in view of the proposed improvement measures,the cost management safeguard measures are established,including strict budget management,the establishment of relevant personnel security system,and the combination of cost management and information technology.Through the analysis of the cost management problems of Z construction company,the corresponding solutions are proposed,which can not only improve the cost management efficiency of Z construction company,but also provide a reference basis for the cost management of other construction companies,which has certain theoretical and practical significance.
