Research On Landscape Design Of Urban Leisure Sports Park

In the current social background where people’s health awareness constantly increases,China’s goal of sports development gradually shifts from being a sports power to promoting nationwide sports.As the living standards of urban residents continue to improve,their requirements for their own health are also continuously increasing,as well as their demands for leisure physical exercises.Places for residents to exercise are facing a shortage.On the other hand,China sports development’s shifting from sports for elites to sports for all aims to enhance the physical fitness of all Chinese people and encourage residents to participate in sports events,for which China proposed the nationwide fitness program.This paper,using methods of literature analysis,field investigation,and design theory practice,made some related research on the design methods of city’s leisure sports parks.With summary of the current research status of sports parks,it proposed the landscape design strategies of leisure sports parks from several aspects,including the defining methods of the park types,design strategies of park zones,planning strategies of sports areas,and landscape of the park.In this paper,Nanning city’s Xinxujiang River is used as an example,with the combination of leisure sports with the ecological features and environmental advantages of the waterfront landscape,it used the practical cases of design to demonstrated the design concept,and the ecological design strategy of the sports parks,as well as the inheritance and development of traditional minority sport events and the experience of leisure sports.The reformation design was made,combining both the sports function and the ecological environment of the waterfront and integrating the city’s ethnic connotation into the unique landscape design,highlighted the regional characteristics of the sports park at Xinxujiang River and the features of waterfront leisure sports.
