Research On Public Space Design Of Contemporary Residential Areas From The Perspective Of New Regionalism

Since human beings got rid of ignorance and entered the era of civilization,the development of residential areas has been accompanied by the development of human civilization.People in different areas have evolved different forms of architecture because of different natural climate and geographical characteristics.In the industrial era,the mechanical and energy revolution has further improved productivity,and the construction of residential areas has become more scientific and efficient.After the end of World War ?,"internationalist architectural style" emphasizing extreme functionality and extreme economy was all the rage,and the design of residential areas also went to the road of assimilation.Until the late 20th century,people began to consciously reflect on the deficiencies of the orthodox modernism architectural theory,thus developing many schools and tendencies.At the same time,the design of residential areas has gradually diversified,and the new regionalism theory is one of the important schools.Since the reform and opening up,China's urban and rural construction has made rapid progress.At the same time,the standardization and commercialization of cities and buildings have led to the gradual decline of traditional architectural style and regional characteristics,and there has been a convergence phenomenon and characteristic crisis in the cultural nature of cities and buildings.Although the government has begun to pay attention to this issue,especially in the construction of tourism characteristic towns,urban public buildings and landmark buildings,it has achieved certain results.However,in the design of contemporary residential areas,there are still the phenomenon of style assimilation and lack of regional culture.Therefore,this paper introduces the concept of new regionalism,investigates the problems existing in the design of public space in contemporary residential areas,explores the design principles of public space in residential areas from the perspective of new regionalism,based on the inspiration from local traditional culture and folk customs,analyzes various design methods,and expects to find out the design methods through the analysis of the excellent design cases at home and abroad The design practice of a residential area in Longzhou District of Guangxi Province can provide reference for researchers of related specialties to do this kind of research and innovative practice.The paper is divided into seven parts.The first part:introduction.Analysis of the development of residential areas,and the importance of regional.Under the background of the national key urbanization construction,it causes the thinking of the contemporary residential environment design.The second part:theoretical research.To study the origin,development and theoretical status of new regionalism.The third part:current situation investigation.Starting from the overall environment,this paper analyzes the existing problems in the design of public space in contemporary residential areas from three aspects of design style,history and culture,and ecological environment.The fourth part:case analysis,study the excellent cases of residential public space design at home and abroad.The fifth part:solve the problem.Through the architecture theory system of new regionalism,this paper finds out the design strategy,design method and design means to solve the existing problems of public space design in contemporary residential areas.The sixth part:design practice,aiming at the public space design scheme of a residential area in Longzhou,Guangxi.The seventh part:the full text analysis,draws the conclusion.
