Research On Urban Design Of Traditional Style Area Based On The Inheritance Of Regional Residential Architectural Culture ——Taking The Traditional Style Area Of Xicao Street In Beijing As An Example

The topic of this paper stems from the fact that the author pays attention to the form and space design of the traditional style area from the perspective of regional residential architectural culture inheritance in the process of urban design practice with his tutor.At the same time,looking back at the current research on the traditional style area,it is found that the research content mostly focuses on the research on protection and renewal methods,protection and utilization values,development and management methods,and pays less attention to the regional residential architectural culture in the traditional style area,Therefore,from the perspective of design,exploring the traditional style area from the perspective of architectural culture inheritance of regional folk houses has certain practical significance for building the overall spatial image of the traditional style area and highlighting the urban characteristics.Based on this,on the basis of combing the relevant theoretical basis of regional residential architectural culture and traditional style area and the research progress at home and abroad,combined with the practical case analysis of shibati traditional style area in Chongqing,Xiaoxihu traditional style area in Nanjing and Nanluoguxiang block in Beijing,this paper discusses the urban design principles,methods and technical route of traditional style area based on the inheritance of regional residential architectural culture from the perspectives of theory and practice,Finally,the principle,method and technical route are empirically demonstrated through personal project practice-"urban design of traditional style area of Xicao street in Beijing".The basic academic viewpoints of this paper are as follows:（1）Under the guidance of urban design ideas and methods,combined with historical and cultural protection,urban renewal and tourism cultural image shaping,the urban design of traditional style areas based on the inheritance of regional residential architectural culture should deeply explore the connotation and extension of regional residential architectural culture inheritance,fully grasp the refinement of regional residential architectural cultural elements,and carry out the urban design of traditional style areas from the perspectives of historical witness and cultural inheritance.（2）The urban design of traditional style areas based on the inheritance of regional residential architectural culture should follow the following principles: the "witness" of the overall spatial historical texture,the "protection" of historical buildings and their surrounding environment,and the "inheritance" of regional residential architectural culture under the guidance of location space examination,image theory and the "Trinity" of architecture,planning and landscape Four design principles of "identity" of tourism cultural image in lot space.（3）Based on the urban design method and technical route of traditional style area based on the inheritance of regional residential architectural culture,on the basis of studying the spatial texture of traditional style area and the cultural characteristics of residential buildings,grasp the relationship between the witness of historical texture and the inheritance of regional residential architectural culture,from the restoration of the overall spatial historical texture,the protection of historical buildings and their surrounding environment From four aspects: the extraction of architectural cultural elements of regional folk houses and the design of tourism cultural image of lot space,the protection of witness space and the design of inheritance space in traditional style areas.Figure [65] table [6] reference [77]...
