On The Application Of Dunhuang Fresco Characters In Dance Drama Costume Design

Modern expression of traditional culture is a common problem in the creation and design of today’s dance drama,and this problem also exists in the costume design of dance drama.However,due to the impetuous mentality of designers,unable to accurately grasp the scale of art,they always want to take a shortcut,and use habitual thinking and inertial thinking to design and create,so that the style of works tend to be similar,without characteristics.In graduate school,I took part in some topics about dunhuang frescoes,in practice at the same time also participated in some related to dunhuang in the stage of practical work,through the communication with classical ballet in the clothing designer to study,learn to some refining elements in the process of creation of Angle and the innovation of technique,combining with specific ballet works to do analysis and classification,At the same time,I hope to bring some thinking to other students.Folk dance drama is a booming form of performance in China.How to create excellent dance drama works on the basis of tradition is the direction that designers continue to explore,so it is of practical significance to study its design and application methods.With the continuous pursuit of spiritual culture,people put forward higher and newer requirements for dance drama creation.Therefore,pay attention to this aspect of learning and research,for our future learning is more beneficial.
