Dunhuang fresco is an important page in the history of art in our country and the world.Its main content is to draw the perfect world in Buddhism,heaven and sky according to the social reality.Because it is more direct and vivid than the records of historical and historical records and notes,the furniture styles used by the deities and laity in the pictures have the most direct reference value for studying the ancient furniture history of China.Among them,the Dunhuang frescoes in the Tang Dynasty are very representative,it can be said that the China painting is the most brilliant representative.According to preliminary statistics,the existing Tang Dynasty grottoes preserved around 100 thousand meters of beautiful frescoes,the contents of which are very extensive,the furniture images are very rich,in a large number of frequently appeared in the transformation painting is the largest number of furniture images,so the author chose the Tang Dynasty Dunhuang frescoes in this new furniture pattern as the main object of this study.Firstly,this paper briefly describes the general situation of Dunhuang wall painting and textile industry in Tang Dynasty and defines the definition of the veil case.Secondly,the form,function,texture and decoration of the hangings in the three periods of Sheng Tang,Middle Tang and Late Tang Dynasty were studied in stages,and the original images collected and arranged were divided into hangings and food cases according to different functions.At the same time,the author deeply explores the furniture design aesthetics and the principle of space application,and tries to interpret the social and cultural contents such as the communion of Chinese and Western culture,people's religious psychology and the Buddhist culture etiquette in the tang dynasty through the careful study of the drapery.At last,the author points out the similarity between modern table-piece furniture and fresco,and puts forward that the design and application of fresco is of great significance to the problem of ritual sense in modern space design.Through the above research,the author hopes to supplement the history of furniture,soft art and dunhuang art,and through tracing the roots to emphasize the importance of dunhuang culture and traditional design,and then guide the future furniture and space design work has certain practical significance.
