In the context of increasingly tight constraints on resources and environment, adhering to the concept of green development and taking the road of green low-carbon circular development is the inevitable requirement to break through the bottleneck constraints on resources and environment.Scientific and technological innovation of green development is the key.Using core technology to promote the progress and innovation of green technology can effectively improve the quality and efficiency of green development and realize the fundamental transformation of economic development mode.Manufacturing industry, the main body of national economy,is an important carrier of technological innovation.Attaching great importance to the development quality of manufacturing industry and maintaining the competitive advantage of advanced technology of manufacturing industry have become the means for many countries to improve their competitiveness and cooperation in the international arena.Agglomeration is an important feature of manufacturing industry development and the main source of industry and national competitiveness. It is important to develop local economy and promote local technology It plays an important role in the process of innovation.Optimizing the development of industrial agglomeration, attaching importance to the efficient organization mode of manufacturing agglomeration, and realizing the collaborative development of specialized and diversified clusters within the cluster are conducive to strengthening the interdependence between industries and within industries on the demand of enterprises for green products, making full use of green innovation resources, which is of great significance to realize high-quality green development. This paper examines the spatial spillover effect of manufacturing agglomeration on green technology innovation from three perspectives of labor-intensive,resource intensive and technology intensive industries, and from two dimensions of specialized agglomeration and diversified agglomeration.Based on the provincial panel data from2010 to 2018,this paper empirically examines the spatial spillover effect of different factor intensive industrial agglomeration and agglomeration types on green technology innovation. The results show that: there is a significant spatial positive correlation in China’s provincial green technology innovation, and the results of green technology innovation have regional heterogeneity, showing a decreasing trend from east to west, showing the characteristics of unbalanced regional distribution, which is consistent with the regional imbalance of China’s economic development. The level of specialization and diversification of factor intensive industries in different regions shows that China’s manufacturing industry is experiencing the process of industrial transfer from east to west,in which labor-intensive and capital intensive manufacturing industries are the main body of the transfer, and the transfer path of labor-intensive industries gradually presents the characteristics of "going west".The spatial spillover of green technology innovation by factor intensive industrial agglomeration and agglomeration type is heterogeneous. From the perspective of specialization agglomeration,labor-intensive industry specialization agglomeration significantly inhibits green technology innovation, technology intensive industry specialization agglomeration and capital intensive industry specialization agglomeration play a positive role in promoting, and technology intensive industry specialization agglomeration is stronger than capital intensive industry specialization agglomeration. From the perspective of diversified agglomeration, the diversified agglomeration of labor-intensive industries, technology intensive industries and capital intensive industries significantly promote green technology innovation. From the perspective of spatial spillover, the deepening of specialized agglomeration of technology intensive industries and capital intensive industries promotes the improvement of green technology innovation level in surrounding areas, while the deepening of specialized agglomeration of labor-intensive industries inhibits the improvement of green technology innovation level in surrounding areas. The diversified agglomeration of technology intensive industries and labor-intensive industries is conducive to the green technology innovation in the surrounding areas, while the diversified agglomeration of capital intensive industries is not conducive to the green technology innovation in the surrounding areas.
