The Creative Application Of Miao Costume Pattern Elements In The Design Of Modern Women's Clothing

Clothing plays an important role in the development of human society.Clothing is not only a product of the times,but also a cultural symbol.Miao culture has a long history,a large branch,a rich variety of clothing,a variety of complex,unique,with in-depth research value and significance.Shidong Town,Kaili City,is the core of Miao people’s settlement in Guizhou Province.It has a unique and complete cultural heritage of Miao people.Its dress patterns reflect the historical and cultural connotation of Shidong Miao people in detail,bearing the material culture and spiritual sustenance of Miao people.This paper studies the pattern characteristics of Shidong Miao women’s dress pattern,refines and analyzes the traditional dress pattern,selects the working pattern of characters to decompose and reconstruct the basic pattern line draft,fills the representative colors of Shidong women’s dress designed twice on the line draft,completes the basic pattern,breaks up the basic pattern and reconstructs the fabric pattern by using modern composition techniques,and combines with TiaoHua embroidery,Dazi embroidery,ping embroidery and other garment embroidery techniques,as well as digital printing techniques,have designed a series of costumes with both ethnic characteristics and modern aesthetics.Through this research method,the Miao costume culture of Shidong will be promoted from the aspect of costume art by combining the profound connotation of the Miao costume culture that the costume inherits with the propaganda of the market and the customer group,so that the Miao costume culture of Shidong can be inherited and developed in a virtuous circle,and a new path will be explored for the protection and research of the Miao costume culture.
