The Application And Research Of Traditional Clothing Patterns Of The Yao Ethnic Group In Northern Guangdong In Creative Men’s Wear

The traditional clothing pattern of the Yao ethnic group in northern Guangdong is an important part of the costume culture of ethnic minorities in China,and is the crystallization of the long-term life practice of the Yao people,and its pattern has diverse themes,bright colors,rich meanings and unique shapes,which is of great research value.The use of ethnic elements in creative men’s wear is a trend of the trend,but there are a lot of homogenization problems in practical use,the author through reading a large number of books and literature,in-depth understanding of the meaning behind the traditional patterns of the Yao ethnic group in northern Guangdong,exploring its artistic characteristics,aiming to properly use in creative men’s wear to create a new visual experience.This paper focuses on the design and application of traditional clothing patterns of the Yao ethnic group in northern Guangdong in creative men’s clothing,which are mainly reflected in four parts: pattern form,clothing color,decorative layout and production process.First,the reference and evolution of pattern form: extract characteristic Yao patterns and carry out abstraction,deconstruction and other processing;Second,the color of clothing is blended: absorbing the traditional five colors of the Yao ethnic group and integrating modern popular colors;Third,the reference innovation of decorative layout: refer to the decorative parts of Yao clothing,combine Yao patterns with modern clothing structure;Fourth,the realization of traditional and modern craftsmanship: the use of traditional Miao batik techniques to make Yao patterns to promote the integration of ethnic cultures,and the use of modern techniques such as poke embroidery and machine embroidery to process patterns to combine traditional ethnic culture and modern craftsmanship.For the specific use of Yao traditional clothing patterns in creative men’s wear is not rigid,not only to retain its unique humanistic customs and artistic characteristics,but also to fully integrate contemporary aesthetics and trends,reflect tradition in innovation,make traditional culture renewed,modern aesthetics and traditional culture intertwined to resonate,inject fresh blood into traditional culture,but also bring unique inspiration and rich decorative materials for creative men’s wear design.
