Objective:By measuring the changes of Cobb angle, trunk rotation angle, pelvic related parameters and plantar pressure related parameters before and after exercise intervention in freshmen with idiopathic mild scoliosis, the rehabilitation effect of exercise intervention on freshmen with scoliosis was analyzed. Methods:Thirty freshmen with mild lumbar scoliosis were selected according to the inclusion criteria, and anteroposterior and lateral radiographs of the spine were taken before exercise intervention.Cobb angle was measured on anteroposterior radiographs, pelvic incidence(PI),pelvic tilt(PT),sacral tilt(SS),and lumbar lordosis(LL)on lateral radiographs, and parameters related to plantar pressure and trunk rotation angle were tested. The subjects were randomly divided into the control group(n=15)and the experimental group(n=15).After 12 weeks of exercise intervention in the experimental group, the subjects were measured again to compare the changes of each index before and after exercise and analyze the rehabilitation effect of exercise intervention on idiopathic mild scoliotic lumbar curve type and thoracolumbar curve type.Results:1.Among the pelvic related parameters of the lumbar curve type,PT was significantly increased,SS and LL were decreased in the experimental group, with a significant statistical difference(P<0.01),and among the pelvic related parameters of the thoracolumbar curve type,SS and LL were significantly decreased in the experimental group after exercise intervention, with a significant statistical difference(P<0.01).2.Among the plantar pressure-related parameters of lumbar curve type,in the experimental group after exercise intervention, the percentage of forefoot weight bearing of lumbar curve type and thoracolumbar curve type was significantly reduced(P<0.01),and the proportion of hindfoot weight bearing was significantly increased(P<0.01),in which the difference in the percentage of left and right foot weight bearing of thoracolumbar curve type was significantly reduced, with statistically significant difference(P<0.01),while the difference in the proportion of left and right foot weight bearing of lumbar curve type was reduced, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).3.For the Cobb angle of the lumbar curve type, after twelve weeks of exercise intervention, the Cobb angle of the experimental group decreased by about2 ° on average, with a significant statistical difference(P<0.01),and the decrease of the Cobb angle in the subjects with the thoracolumbar curve type was less than that in the lumbar curve type, but there was also a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The trunk rotation angle was significantly reduced in subjects in both the lumbar and thoracolumbar experimental groups(P<0.01).Conclusions:1.In this study,15 freshman students with mild idiopathic scoliosis in the lumbar segment showed improvement in overall spinal status compared with that before exercise after twelve weeks of specific exercise intervention exercises.2.For scoliosis angle, the rehabilitation effect of subjects with lumbar curve type is better than that of subjects with thoracolumbar curve type.3.This study showed that the trunk rotation angle of the subjects was reduced, the poor posture of pelvic tilt was improved, and the plantar pressure distribution was more uniform, indicating that the movements of this set of exercise intervention had a clear effect on spinal posture correction.
