Background: With the ever-changing progress of society, the economic level is also increasing day by day.The teenagers in the new era are not only rich in material conditions, but also have the threat of "obesity",obesity is associated with metabolic disease. The study found a significant correlation between the levels of fatty acids in human serum and metabolic diseases, more unsaturated fat has important implications for improving insulin sensitivity, preventing and improving cardiovascular disease, and preventing obesity. Objective: To explore the difference of serum fatty acid profile between obese adolescents with normal metabolism and obese adolescents with abnormal metabolism, and the effect of exercise combined with diet intervention on their fatty acid profile. The research aims to make available dietary guidance for adolescents with abnormal metabolism to recover their metabolic status, and to make a contribution to the future study of serum fatty acid composition as a comprehensive biomarker to evaluate the metabolic status of obesity in adolescents. Methods: A total of 27 obese adolescents, including eleven girls and sixteen boys, were selected at Haoqian weight-loss training camp. The subjects were divided into two groups: normal metabolic obesity group(MHO group)and abnormal metabolic obesity group(MUO group). There were 17 subjects in MHO Group, the MUO group had 10 subjects.A month-long exercise intervention, combined with a diet controlled, closed camp, was given to 27 participants. On the first day and the last day of the camp, the subjects' physical stature and physical composition were tested.Fasting blood from elbow vein was collected for fatty acid profile and some blood composition measurements.7890 A GC-5975 C FID analyzer was used to analyze fasting serum fatty acids before and after weight-loss summer camp.Results:1.Among obese adolescents, the waist-hip ratio(0.94±0.06 ? 0.81±0.20,P<0.01)and visceral fat content(6.17±0.02 kg ? 3.83±0.17 kg,P<0.05)in the MUO group were significantly higher than those in the MHO group,The other body composition indexes tended to be larger than those in the MHO group, but not statistically significant(P>0.05).2.The absolute contents of total fatty acids(TFA),saturated fatty acids(SFA),monounsaturated fatty acids(MUFA),polyunsaturated fatty acids(PUFA),polyunsaturated fatty acids(PUFA),n-6 PUFA and n-3 PUFA in the MUO group of adolescents were significantly higher than those in MHO group(P<0.05);the relative content of SFA in MUO group was significantly higher than that in MHO group, and the relative contents of PUFA,n-6 PUFA and n-3 PUFA were significantly higher than those in MHO group.were significantly lower than those in the MHO group.3.Serum TG and TFA(P<0.01),SFA(P<0.001),MUFA(P<0.01),PUFA(P<0.01),n-6PUFA(P<0.01),n-3PUFA(P<0.01)were significantly positively correlated;fasting blood glucose was negatively correlated with n-3PUFA(P<0.01);waist circumference was significantly correlated with TFA(P<0.05),SFA(P<0.05),MUFA(P<0.05),Both PUFA(P<0.05)and n-6PUFA(P<0.05)were significantly positively correlated.4.The total fat intake fraction of MUO group(54.33±10.0)before entering the camp was higher than that of MHO group(49.48±8.7),and the PUFA(P<0.05)intake of MUO group was significantly higher than that of MHO group; From the above, the frequency of eating high-fat staple foods(P<0.05)among obese adolescents in the MUO group was significantly higher than that in the MHO group, suggesting that the difference in fatty acid profiles of obese adolescents between the two groups was related to the recent fatty acid intake.5.After successful weight loss, compared with the MHO group, there was no significant difference in the body composition of the adolescents in the MUO group.Body composition of adolescents in both MHO and MUO groups decreased significantly(P<0.05).And the reduction of waist-hip ratio and visceral fat mass in the MUO group was significantly greater than that in the MHO group(P<0.01).6.After 4 weeks of weight loss intervention, the absolute content of various fatty acids in both MHO group and MUO group decreased(P<0.05).Among them, the reduction of n-3PUFA in the MUO group was the most significant(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in various fatty acids between the MHO group and the MUO group. The relative content of n-3PUFA(P<0.01)in MHO group and MUO group decreased significantly. However, the ranking of various fatty acids in the total fatty acid content of the MHO group and the MUO group did not change.Conclusions:1.The serum levels of TFA,SFA,MUFA,PUFA,n-3 PUFA,and n-6 PUFA in MUO adolescents were higher than those in the MHO group, but the relative content of PUFA was lower than that in the MHO group, indicating that the MUO group had fatty acid metabolism disorders.2.Serum fatty acids in obese adolescents have a positive correlation with fasting TG and waist circumference levels,n-3PUFA has a significant negative correlation with fasting blood glucose, and serum fatty acids are related to dietary fatty acid intake, suggesting that serum fatty acid levels may be involved in the occurrence of metabolic abnormalities.important role in development.3.Exercise combined with diet intervention can significantly reduce the levels of TFA,SFA,MUFA,PUFA,n-3 PUFA and n-6 PUFA in obese adolescents, and the same intervention program has a more significant effect on reducing serum fatty acids in the MUO group.
