In order to explore the distribution characteristics of AM fungi in the rhizosphere soil of common ferns in Fanjing Mountain, the rhizosphere soil of 20 species of ferns from 10 families was collected in Fanjing Mountain. The AM fungal spores were separated, and then morphological and molecular biology methods were used to identify and classify AM fungal spores. Finally, statistical methods were used to analyze the AM fungal diversity of different ferns. The main results and conclusions are as follows:1.A total of 38 species of AM fungi in 15 genera were identified through morphology, and 9 species in 6 genera were identified through molecular biology.Among them,Acaulospora has the most species with 11 species, followed by Glomus with 5 species. The two genera belong to the genus Fanjingshan.2.According to the analysis of 20 species(genus)and endemic species of AM fungi in the rhizosphere soil of ferns, there are four dominant genera, namely Acaulospora,Claroideoglomus,Glomus, and Sclerocystis;there are two subdominant genera, namely Septoglomus and Ambispora. The dominant species is only Cl.etunicatum.3.The diversity of AM fungi is different among different ferns. The highest spore density and species abundance is Pteridium aquilinum, and Nephrolepis auriculata has the lowest index. The Shannon-wiener index and Simpson index are the highest for Leptorumohra quadripinnata, and the lowest is Dicranopteris chinense. The highest Pielou index is Nephrolepis auriculata, and the lowest is Pronephrium penangianum.4.The distribution of AM fungi will be affected by biotic or non-biological external factors, such as the host plant and the habitat of the host plant. The species distribution and dominant species(genus)of AM fungi in different ferns and their habitats are quite different.Pteridium aquilinum, which is fond of sunny and other places, contains the most AM fungi species, with 20 species, and 4 dominant species;Nephrolepis auriculata, which is fond of dark and humid places, rock walls, and other places, contains the least AM fungi species,There are 7 species, and there is only one dominant species.5.AM fungi and host plants have a mutual selection relationship. Some host plants have their own unique species. The existence of unique species may be the result of host plants' selection of AM fungi.Among the 20 species of ferns,Sphenomeris chinensis,Woodwardia unigemmata,Selaginella moellendorffii,Parathelypteris beddomei,Dryopteris wallichiana, and Leptorumohra quadripinnata all have their own unique species.
