The spider subfamily Coelotinae(Araneae:Agelenidae)is found in the Northern Hemisphere, and totally 23 genera,641 species are recorded.China has the richest species diversity of Coelotinae. There are 18 genera,289 species recorded from China now.Recently, the publications of many new species of Coelotinae show that the survey of coelotines is still not finished.Because of the various genitalia, some coelotine genera have no clear diagnosis and are not monophyletic. The variation of intra-species caused some misidentifications and synonyms. The relationship among this subfamily is quite confusing.Comprehensive taxonomy research on it can improve the knowledge of biodiversity and the phylogenetics.Based on the results of some arachnologists and the examination of a great deal of Chinese materials newly collected and loaned,we made a detailed research on the diversity of coelotine spiders from Mt.Fanjing, the revision of Platocoelotes and the revision of Chinese Pireneitega. In the general account,a brief historical review, morphological characteristics, and biology of Coelotinae are presented. In the systematic account, totally 44 species, belonging to eight genera(a new genus included)are presented.Among them,13 new species, three new combinations, three new discoveries of male,a new discovery of female, and proposing five new synonyms and 11 misidentifications are described and proposed.Detailed diagnosis and description of all species are given.Genital photographs of all species are provided, except for Pireneitega involuta(Wang et al.,1990),P.neglecta(Hu,2001),Platocoelotes daweishanensis Xu&Li,2008,P.bifidus Yin et al.2010 and P.strombuliformis Liu&Li,2008,which specimens are unavailble for this research. In addition, new species and new discoveries provided illustrations of genitelia.Several surveys to the Fanjing Mountain Natural Reserve were done during 2012-2013,17 coelotine species were found:Coelotes sussacratus sp.nov.,Draconarius cristiformis sp.nov.,D.foramen sp.nov.,D.latusincertus Wang et al.,2010,D.parallelus Liu&Li,2009,D.pinguis sp.nov.,D.serpentinus sp.nov.,D.terebratus(Peng&Wang,1997),Iwogumoa plancyi(Simon,1880)comb.nov.(transferred from Coelotes),Orumcekia gemata(Wang,1994),Pireneitega luctuosa(L.Koch,1878),Platocoelotes fanjingshan sp.nov.,P.impletus(Peng&Wang,1997),P.icohamatoides(Peng&Wang,1997),Tonsilla rostra sp.nov.and T.truculenta Wang&Yin,1992.Two new synonyms,Coelotes jucundus Chen&Zhao,1997 = Iwogumoa plancyi(Simon,1880)comb.nov.,Tonsilla imitata Wang&Yin,1992 = T.truculenta Wang&Yin,1992.Platocoelotes is an endemic group to China and Japan, which can be divided into two species groups,P.impletus group(11 species)and P.brevis group(9 species).Six new species are described,P.exiguprocessus sp.nov.,P.fanjingshan sp.nov.,P.longisulcus sp.nov.,P.strenus sp.nov.,P.subimperfectus sp.nov.and P.subimpletus sp.nov..The male of P.imperfectus Wang&Jager,2007 and female of P.lichuanensis(Chen&Zhao,1998)are described for the first time. The species P.kailiensis Wang,2003 is synonymized with P.icohamatoides(Peng&Wang,1997).P.polyptychus Xu&Li,2006 and P.zhuchuandiani Liu&Li,2012 are transferred to the genus Draconarius and Atricoelotes gen.nov.,with the type species A.wujiang sp.nov..12 Chinese Pireneitega species are reviewed here. The male of P.major(Kroneberg,1875)is described for the first time, and Coelotes sakhalinensis Marusik&Logunov,1991 is synonymized with P.major(Kroneberg,1875).The species P.triglochinatus(Zhu&Wang,1991)and P.liansui(Bao&Yin,2004)are synonymized with P.luctuosa(L.Koch,1878).Additionally,11 misidentifications are proposed.
