Global Comparative Analysis And The World Heritage Values On Vertebrate Animal Diversity Of Fanjing Mountain

China is one of the richest areas of animal diversity in the world,the Fanjingshan is a nomination for world natural heritage to the UNESCO by China,vertebrate animal diversity is not only of great value,but also of the most prominent mainfestation of the value of biodiversity,and a very important part of the value of ecological processes and aesthetic,which is of great significance to its research.In order to investigate the vertebrate animal diversity of nomination property and provide support for the heritage declaration,to selected the Fanjingshan as the study area,during May 2014 to December 2016,base field investigation,lab andliterature analysis,and comparision,analysis of the vertebrate fauna,vertebrate animal species diversity,the present situation of the rare and endangered vertebrate animals,endemic vertebrate animals of Fanjingshan nomination,and compared with vertebrates with heritage sites,tentative world heritage sites and non-heritage sites all over the world,which have similar biological geography provinces or similar climatic zones with Fanjingshan,main conclusions are as follow:(1)Rhinopithecus brelichi is a rare and endangered primate,the number of population is small,the distribution property is narrow,and relatively primitive,an entire snub-nosed monkey species confined to a single site giving Fanjingshan a unique claim of irreplaceability,Fanjingshan is the most important area of the species' s in-situ conservation,has very important protection value.(2)The number of recorded rare and endangered vertebrate animal species found within the nominated property totals 113,including 36 animal species on IUCN Red List,45 species on CITES,87 species on China species Red List and 44 species listed as National Key Protected Wild Animal species in China.Fanjingshan is a very important habitat for the wild animal species evolution and the understanding of phylogenetic,including 4 species of endemic vertebrates,including mammals and amphibians,whose forest ecosystems and wetland ecosystems provide critical sites for subspecies differentiation and endemic species.Fanjingshan is an important habitat for differentiation and development of many rare and endangered vertebrate animal and endemic vertebrate animals.(3)The number of recorded animal species found within thenominated property(not counting domestic animals)totals 2,767.This includes 450 species of the vertebrates in 32 orders,100 families and 281genera(probably far from totally documented for birds).Fanjingshan contains a very large number of vertebrate animal species in a very small area.and it is a very high biodiversity area per unit area and is a treasure house of vertebrate animal diversity.(4)Compared with world heritage,tentative world heritage sites and no-heritage,Fanjingshan has an endemic representative speciesRhinopithecus brelichi,more rare and endangered vertebrate animals and vertebrate animal species density,the amphibians and of Fanjingshan are particularly rich this is due to the radial nature of its extensive river system which connects to several different river catchments.(5)Fanjingshan vertebrate animal diversity is an important component of ecological value and aesthetic value.Vertebrate animal diversity is evidence of the evolution of the "island" of the Fanjingshan ecological and an important part of the typical mountain forest ecosystem.It has a rich variety of animals,more than 400 kinds of vertebrate animals greatly enriched Fanjingshan aesthetic elements,enhance the beauty of its natural.(6)Fanjingshan is the nomination property of China's natural world heritage,the value of vertebrate animal diversity in the performance of the habitat of all species of Rhinopithecus brelichi,abundance of rare and endangered and endemic vertebrate animal species and higher animal diversity per unit area.The vertebrate animal diversity of nomination property is important component and outstanding performance of biodiversity value,ecological process value and aesthetic value.Nominated vertebrate animal diversity has a unique position in the global comparative analysis,with irreplacea.
