| The study takes secondary vocational students as the investigation object to explore the influence of the personality trait of self-concept clarity on school adaptation,and to understand the mechanism of social support,and to explore the feasibility of improving secondary vocational students’ school adaptation level through group counseling and intervention of perceived social support,and to provide suggestions for improving secondary vocational students’ school adaptation level.In study 1,1326 students from two secondary vocational colleges in Anhui Province and Hebei Province were selected by using "School adaptation scale","perceived Social support scale" and "self-concept clarity scale".The differences of school adaptation,perceived social support and self-concept clarity in demographic variables and the relationship among them are analyzed,and a structural equation model is constructed.To explore whether social support can mediate the influence of self-concept clarity on school adaptation.In study 2,on the basis of study 1,using the experimental design of pre-test,post-test and follow-up test of the experimental group and the control group,30 secondary vocational students in the experimental group were given group counseling intervention focusing on understanding social support.in order to test the effectiveness of the design and the stability of the intervention results.The results show that:(1)The self-concept clarity of secondary vocational students is significantly different in gender and grade,and the perceived social support of secondary vocational students is significantly different in parental rearing style,grade,living style and family type.There are significant differences in school adaptability of secondary vocational students in grade,rearing style and family type.(2)The clarity of self-concept and perceived social support of secondary vocational school students are positively related to school adaptation,and self-concept clarity can positively predict the perception of social support and school adaptation.At the same time,understanding social support can also positively predict school adaptation.Secondary vocational school students understand that social support plays an intermediary role in the influence of self-concept clarity on school adaptation,and the intermediary effect value is 41%.(3)After 10 weeks of group counseling intervention,the level of perceived social support in the experimental group was significantly improved,and the level of school adaptation was also improved,and the follow-up test results were consistent with the post-test results.there was no significant change in the level of perceived social support and school adaptation in the control group.The school adaptation level of secondary vocational students can be improved by carrying out the construction of class culture,promoting mental health education and strengthening vocational skills training. |
