Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Social Organizations Participating In Services For Children In Distress

With the continuous deepening of social construction and reform,my country’s child welfare and protection system has been gradually improved,and the development of disadvantaged groups such as children in distress has received continuous attention and attention from the society.Entering a new stage of development,my country is committed to innovating grass-roots social governance and promoting social organizations to serve resource sinking communities.As an important part of the informal support system for children in distress,social organizations can act as a protective barrier for children in distress,use flexible and diverse assistance actions and services to respond to the diverse needs of children in distress in a timely and efficient manner,and play an important role in child welfare.Important service complement.At present,due to the particularity of the development of national conditions,my country’s child welfare and protection system still has contradictions such as unbalanced and insufficient development,and it is difficult to change the fact that there is a large base of children in distress.The needs of children in distress are complex and diverse,mainly reflected in the transition from "basic security to developmental services".To properly deal with the changing needs of children in distress,we should start from the social support network of children in distress,and build a solid social support system for children in distress by strengthening the positive influence of social organizations and other multiple subjects on children in distress.Relying on qualitative research methods,this study conducts practical research on S organization and its service projects for children in distress by using semi-structured interviews and participatory observation.First,it explains the current situation of social services for children in distress in Guangzhou and the necessity for S organization to participate in the service for children in distress.Secondly,it focuses on the practical strategies of S organization’s services for children in distress,and analyzes the whole process and content of its response to needs.The study found that the S organization can give full play to the professional advantages of the resource platform when carrying out services for children in distress,and to a certain extent promote the development of children and the participation of multiple social subjects.However,due to the limitations of the organization’s own construction,problems such as low service professionalism,shallow service level,and lack of standardized service processes are still prominent.Therefore,in order to promote the construction and development of child welfare undertakings in the future,it is necessary to fully mobilize all kinds of subjects to play their roles.It is necessary to adhere to the government-led public service supply pattern,gather efforts to promote the "five social associations" mechanism,broaden the channels and thresholds for social participation,and introduce professional society.Work force,mobilize social organizations,communities,volunteers and other diverse subjects to actively invest in services and resources in the service of children in distress,strengthen the social support system for children in distress,and promote the development of child-friendly cities and communities to enter the fast lane of development,so as to realize the comprehensive development of children as soon as possible.Develop a better vision and work together.
