| Speed and efficiency are the dominant features of this era.Nowadays,society and mankind are obsessed with the worship and pursuit of quick impact.Education has also tasted the pleasure of accelerating rhythm and sped up its own pace.The instrumental rationality and mechanical utilitarianism that filled the whole process of education led to his original intention being hoodwinked and forgetting his own significance and mission.However,the fundamental position of educating of education should not be shaken when education serves the society.Education revolves around people,influences people,walks into people and shapes people,which is the whole existence and development of education.Therefore,in the fast era dominated by acceleration and efficiency,education has started a process of reflection and struggled to refute the fast era.The fast era is eager for “slow education”,which requires to slow down in all aspects of educational environment,educational subject,educational method,educational body and educational mind,so as to recover its original appearance-slow.“Slow education” is committed to surrounding people closely,influencing people gradually,entering people slowly,shaping people slowly,drawing them and talking about them slowly.In the current accelerating education,“slow education” has valuable value.It not only defends the root of education,but also realizes the cultivation of whole people while stimulating the transcendence of education itself.Based on the background of educational development in the fast era,this study analyzes the causes and characteristics of current education in the state of acceleration.Based on the three basic theories of “slow education”: acceleration theory,quiet contemplation theory and slow beauty theory,this study introduces “slow education” and expounds its significance and feasibility for the current situation of educational development.This paper mainly discusses the five subjects of “slow education”,including slow environment,slow subject,slow way,slow body and slow mind,and discusses the reasons and measures for calling on the five subjects to “slow down”.“Slow education” finds the essence of educating of education.Its existence not only shows profound practical significance,but also contains rich humanistic feelings. |
